    Well, hello, everyone.

    Greetings fellow Christians!

My name is Jeremiah Redford, and I'm from Karlstad, MN. No, that's not my real name, but I figure not everyone here needs to know my last name. I've been a practicing Christian for as long as I can remember, raised good like mama wanted, and always felt the love of Christ within my chest like a beating heart.

As a retired Major of the US Army, I have a lot of time on my hands nowadays, and at 56 this old body doesn't do everything it quite used to. But I'm able to get to my church, the Karlstad Baptist Church, every Sunday and Wednesday.

I look forward to joining your community a little more and I leave you this passage from Him.
    Psalm 137:9 (King James Version)
"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."

Kids these days are just writhing in sin, and in my opinion, they could use a little sense smacked into them! All that nudity on the MTV and HBO. It's destroying our country like this Borack Obama character.

    God bless you.

    Re: Well, hello, everyone.

Praise God! I hope you aren't pulling our leg about being a Major, Major. I'm a Captain in Christ's Army.

    Otherwise, welcome!
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

      Re: Well, hello, everyone.

Welcome, friend. It will take a little while for the DoF to verify your statements, but you sound as one who walks in the footsteps of Our Savior.

Do you have any children? If so, do they also walk in righteousness?
      II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. So, you have escaped the evil clutches of the Lutheranistic sect? If so, good for you.

I hope you are lucky enough to have the Godly Michelle Bachman as your representative in the cesspool of Washington, DC.

Michelle speaks truth to power and would be an ideal prospect for an important position in the upcoming Palin administration. And here, I'm thinking of Secretary of Education where she can dismantle that agency and focus what's left of it on a well-funded home schooling program.

Welcome Jeremiah! Why do you just practice being a Christian? Aren't you ready for the varsity? I don't practice being a christian, I live it! You're not related to that communist fornicating actor Robert Redford are you?

Thank you for your service Major. But I must ask, why is it you did not rise to higher rank such as Colonel, General or even Sergeant? Do you have some charachter flaw we should know about?

Yes, Psalms is probably my favorite book in the Old Testament. There is some much knowledge and pleasure to be gleaned from those wonderful songs.

You're absolutely right there! Are you married? Did you produce little soldiers for God? If so, did you subject them to beatings when they strayed from the straight and narrow path to Jesus?

              Re: Well, hello, everyone.

Welcome Jeremiah. Nice to have another coot to talk to. So many young-uns underfoot these days.
Glad to see another ex-military man here too. I was in 'Nam, the tail end of that 'war', though I do not like to talk about it. Suffice it to say, you have another brother who understands here.
Were you like many of us, finding redemption in a fox hole as napalm burned all around, the smell of burning flesh searing our noses, stumbling and tripping over body parts of guys you wallowed with hours earlier?
How many sons have you got? Hopefully, they will walk in the foot steps of the Lord and not in those of some towel head from Afghanistan.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Thank you for your service Brother James. I too am an old coot. My service during Nam was in the Navy, so unfortunately I never came under fire. It's an experience I really feel I missed. But I know through my actions I participated indirectly in the slaughter thousands of those filthy communist Vietnamese.

Good to meet you Brother James.

Alas, no character flaws here except for the usual we find ourselves in; the occasional lie, some small ill-minded trickery on nuisance churchgoers, and perhaps this is personal but phases of terrible, terrible chronic masturbation. I was discharged from the army because of wounds received during duty oversees. I too don't much like to discuss my service because it was not of the Lord, but of man's desires. I'm not terribly proud of the lives I took with my bare hands, even if they were satanic communist infidels, during that time of my life. Forgive me, brothers and sisters.

I married, oh, about 15 years ago. Unfortunately it came to light that the haughty tramp and harlot had relationships with a black man and other satanic infidels before we met and after some time our relationship grew strained because of this. We are now estranged but in mine and no doubt God's eyes the marriage is finished; she'll burn in hell for her promiscuity sure enough. As for children, we had 6, because it is our duty as Christians to populate this earth with devout followers of Jesus Christ our Lord. I did routinely subject them to beatings when they strayed from the righteous path and I believe it's put them straight. My Lord how my head hurt when my youngest claimed to feel most like a woman! Blasphemy!

I will leave you all with this passage in Jesus' name.

                    Ezekial 5:10 (King James Version)
"Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds."

There are many things our Lord can forgive, Jeremiah. One of his acts of forgiveness can be for random masturbation.

(I, myself, proudly carry the "Ex-Masturbator" medal for my documented evidence in the avoidance of choking my chicken self-abuse.)

If you have photographic evidence that your have purged yourself of this sin, please submit it.

I am particularly interested in evidence that shows your cleanliness when Michelle Bachman is on TV. If you can show your resistance to her comely appearance, I'm sure your medal will be in the pipeline.
