hi,

im new, a friend posted a link to this on facebook, so i thought i might register. I am a Christian, Catholic however, thats how I raised as a child. my fav Bible verse is "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

FALSE CHRISTIANS such as RomanCatholics pray to Mary. That is the OPPOSITE of what The Bible tells us to do:

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus

Notice that it doesn't say two mediators (e.g. Jesus and Mary). Mary has nothing to do with Christianity. She died 2,000 years ago. She did give birth to Jesus and His brothers, of course; this is what Jesus said:

31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

The Pope does not do the will of God. He does THE EXACT opposite of the will of God AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY.

That is more than willful ignorance, it is anti-Christian and anti-God. The Pope is an educated man. Therefore he is a liar, and everyone who follows his false teaching will go to Hell.

This is what Jesus said about liars and murderers, such as popes, cardinals and false priests:

JOHN 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Jesus ended that part of the Law which required sacrifices, by fulfilling it. It is just one example of God's Perfect Love. The function of priests was to make that sacrifice, to stand between sinful humanity and perfect God. There is now no rôle for priests at any time. They exist as thieves, liars and perverts. There is not any other sort of priest. No other type of priest is possible. Their mutterings and their BLATANT IDOLATRY is a whoredom and an abomination to God.

I see from your profile that you were in investment banking chasing money which is the route of all evil (no i dont have a phrase from the Bible becuase this is life, not a research paper in which every comment needs a reference). I on the other hand am a Doctor in the emergency wards. Yes I earn a lot of money but i give a lot to organisations like Charitas. When I get to the pearly gates I will be welcomed to Heaven with open arms as I in my everyday profession spread the Love of God. I also help those less fortunate than my self. I will not be going to hell because why would a God that loves me send me send me there. I dont spread hatred like this website does. I read parts of the link you posted, and I also read some rebutals. Yes I agree with some of the things that were mentioned. Priests should be allowed to marry. Catholicism has come from a violent past, but how ever what was being condemed is also being supported by this religion in relation to Iraq, Afganistan. I read in this forum that your members support the killing of muslims which sounds like a modern day crusade.

The Bible does indeed address these things, e.g.: "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:25) Please note that does not mean investment bankers can not go to Heaven, but it does mean it is very hard for them to go to Heaven. I do counseling sessions for rich people who are afraid of going to Hell, so I am aware of the complex intricacies of this matter.

According to your reasoning God should not have bothered to create Hell. As God did create Hell there are clearly errors in your reasoning here. The problem with Catholics is that they ignore large parts of the Holy Bible which is actually quite clear on these matters.

First of all you need to realize that no matter how "good" you think you are, you are still a sinner. For example, if you ever lied in your life, just once, you can go to Hell for that: "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8)

We are all sinners and God knows this about us. Being in denial about this, the core of what is wrong about Catholicism, is extremely dangerous. Again, the Bible has the answers here: "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) and also "There is none righteous; no, not one." (Romans 3:10).

Getting saved and going to Heaven is easy, but Catholicism is not the right way. All Catholics will burn in Hell for ignoring important parts of the Holy Bible. God created all of the Bible, not just the part the Pope happens to like.

Again these matters can be resolved by simply reading the Holy Bible. "That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman." (2nd Chronicles 15:13)

Of course i have sinned thousands of times. so have you and every one in this forum. but do we all go to hell becuase of it? there are different magnitudes of sins.
I dont believe Catholics will burn in hell. "he who believes and is baptised shall be saved" Mk 16:16 regardless of other passages in the Bible. one part can not contradict another. if i approach St Peter at the gate waving this pasage he has to let me through. maybe by not following the bible word for word i might be excluded from certain rooms thats fine with me as long as im not in hell. if you are atheist then none of that passage is checked off and maybe then they might go to hell but not me

The real difference in sinning is simple, before I was washed in the blood of the Lamb I too sinned. No longer do I go against God.

Now you Catliks seem to think that you can sin away Monday through Friday. You go to confession and tell the resident Pedophile that you have sinned. He tells you to pray to Mary. On Sunday you eat a death cookie and have some cheap wine. Monday you start all over.

You migth be making a miscalculation here. While popular literature like Dante certainly leaves that impression the reality of the Holy Bible is different: "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." (Revelation 20:14-15)

Yes, but that only works if you believe in the things that are written in the Holy Bible. You cannot make up your own religion, which is exactly what Catholics have been doing. According to your reasoning those who "believe" in the Flying Spaghetti Monster would be saved as well. Do you see how silly that is!

Jesus Christ is the only way: "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man comes to the Father but by Me." (John 14:6). Please note neither the Pope nor Mary are mentioned here. Only Jesus is mentioned here!

Please note that none of the things you are saying here are in the actual Holy Bible. I assume they are things the Catholics added to the Holy Bible. And this is yet another thing that is not allowed by God. We have to use His Holy Bible, without additions or skipping any parts: "Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you." (Deuteronomy 4:2)

I hope you will give these things some serious thought. You have been lied to and the truth is right in front of you. The truth is in the Holy Bible!
