Where do you draw the line? If Genesis is entirely symbolic, why aren't the Gospels entirely symbolic as well? In other words, if you're right about Genesis, why aren't the magic-mushroom cultists just as right when they read the Gospels allegorically?

Hey, I have been a Chatolic but since I have find this forum and your religion I've been wondering.

Why do you read the Bible in a so literally way? The Bible was written with different stiles, like a poetry, for example the apocalypsis is entirely symbolic. The genesis too.

Why do you call yourself True Christian? You're a branch, of a branch of the Church. You don't have a Pope, descendant of the first one selected by Jesus. You don't have a central house, as we do. You are another bunch of people that didn't like the way of praying to Jesus and decided to do it by your way..

Maybe I can explain you my point although I am new here too:

1. The spreading of Word of God is the Rule # 1 for every Christian Community:

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...
Mar 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

2. 2 Tim 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

Are you so sure that your hierarchy is still Christian; it is difficult to believe that Churches who support liberalism, homosexuality, abortions can remain true Christian Churches. Only Fundamentalist Evangelical Churches can save Christianity, not traitors and apostasies.

These Chatolics like to chat about such things, they have to have everything explained as if they were 4 year olds.

The biggest real catholic country is Poland, after the Pope Johan II died it became gradually more and more atheistic. In Italian, Spain, Portugal etc. the Churches are empty, the mainly catholic Latin America is a shelter of drug traffickers and criminals. The most of old Churches could still exist with State Support like hundred years ago, but without it they are dissolved, became apostatize and are today in reality clinically dead. As I already said, the Future of Christianity belong to Evangelical Fundamentalist Churches who can fight for our believe in an adversary atheistic - liberal environment.

I can justify myself. The Bible was transcripted to Latin, and it stayed like that for a long time(even when the Protestants[A.K.A:Somehow you] broke away from the Church).

Only the hard line (mockers of Christianity) muslims, accept that view. After all, the age of virgins, accounted in the bible is around 3 years old.

ie

Now kill all the boys. And kill every woman who has slept with a man, 18 but save for yourselves every girl who has never slept with a man (numbers 31:17-18)

and

O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock! (Psalm 137:8-9)

As long as they are not suckling, they are considered virgins. IE 3 years old.

Godly point, friend. One little thing I would like to point out that the Bible does call for the death of the infidel.

2 Chronicles 15:13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
