Why would we even consider "hearing out" your unsaved opinions? The Holy Bible (KJV 1611) is quite clear that we are to have nothing to do with the unsaved unless they have a change of heart and are willing to obey God's Word.

As for science and logical reasoning taking me to Hell, that's a bit brash of a statement. You're condemning anyone who has ever had a logical thought in their brain to eternal damnation. Why does science have to be seen as the enemy of religion? Why can't we use science to prove concepts in religion?

If anyone truly had a logical brain, then they would be bending over backwards to obey God's Word. We know that failure to do so leads to an eternity of unfathomable torment in the lake of fire. So really, not being a True Christian™ is the absolute least logical thing a person could choose to do.

True Science™ is not the enemy of religion. In fact, we have several renowned Creation Scientists who regularly post here. It is the bastardized, vain secular "science" that is the enemy of God, as it seeks to deceive Jesus' elect into doubting the Bible Facts left for us in the KJV 1611.

I just joined this forum too, for fun mostly, but it's appropriate for new members to greet each other, I should think?

As for the discussion going on here, I'd like to say that I am Christian (if you consider Catholics as such, anyway) and I support gay rights, even though I am not gay myself. In short, please don't take these forum-ers as representative of all Christians- some of us believe in equality and like to think that we're pretty nice people, haha.

I like to think that we have a kind enough God that anyone who loves and generally tries to be a decent human being stands a good chance of going to Heaven, if you'll excuse my terrible blasphemy.

I thought it was high time I joined you gents in your classy discussions. Now, I've been lurking for quite some time reading the naughty, naughty things you boys and girls have been posting, and I felt it was about time I joined up and brought some intelligent thought to the table. Feel free to pose any questions, concerns, or confusions you have about any topic on this forum... and let me assure, most of you are confused. If you're still confused as to why the Earth is round, I can explain it. If you're confused as to why the Bible is wrong on several accounts, I can explain that pretty easily too. I'd even be willing to elaborate on why most of you are being ignorant and discriminating against people. But I'm not here to point fingers and name names. I just want to explain the truth... the facts, cold and hard as they may be to accept.

I believe you might have missed my previous explanation of irony. Just because someone named themselves "TheHomosexualAgenda" on a forum doesn't necessarily mean that they themselves are homosexual. Of course, I don't believe that being homosexual will cause you to burn eternally in a lake of fire for that matter, so the argument is moot. In truth the irony behind my name had to do mostly with the posts I had read on this forum condemning anyone who disagreed with the common opinions held here to be a "unsaved trash raging queer nancy boy" as you've elected to title me on the forum in the mere 4 hours I've been a member. On top of this, The Homosexual Agenda is a reference to a character in a webcomic that I used to read, which at the time was a joke being used in the webcomic.

Is it so hard to believe the various personal and political motivations could have found their way into the Bible whenever MEN were writing it? No no, you misunderstand me, I'm not here to individually name names. As a whole, yes, I'll openly state that this forum has said some very highly offensive and quite often inaccurate statements. It was my intention not to pick out peoples individual mistakes as hey, we're all human.

Have you ever READ the Bible?

Cover to cover actually, both Old Testament and New Testament. It was boring read I must admit, but I felt it a necessary research if I was going to have an intelligent conversation. I've also done studied several other religious texts with the assistance of modern technology and libraries. I highly recommend it. It's nice to get a wide perspective.
