    Pleased to meet you

Hello my name is Alphonse, my family calls me sir and my friends calls me Alphonse.

I am 30 years old and originally Finnish with some Eskimo heritage. I was part of evanchelic lutheran church, but of late I found it's views way too liberal. I am still devoted churchgoer and try to visit church as often as possible and lord has tested my faith with 2 daughters, but truly blessed me with 3 sons. As I'm soon turning already to 31 I'm expexting to see grandchildren in near future as well.

My favourite bible verse is Matthew 7:3 "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?"

I think the first time I truly felt power of Jesus, was when they tried to force me this "theory of evolution" at elementary school. I got immediately very strong feeling of disgust. I did not first realize what is was, but after talking with my father and our minister, I realized it was love of Jesus guiding me to right direction. Jesus also saved me from cruel fate of Eskimo . I used to be a quarter Eskimo but through lot of praying, Jesus performed a miracle and removed the taint of Eskimo from me. Glory!

Welcome Alphonse to the friendliest forum this side of everywhere.

What is you wife's best pie? How long does it take to clean your gun? Are you beating your wife and children sufficiently to train them as the 1611 King James Bible demands? Are you homeschooling your children so that they will not fall into the same evolution trap that you did?

Welcome. But, in addition to the very unFinnish name, that lechendary misspelling of your own jurj chust makes me doubt you a widdle bit.

Are you a chenuine seeker of Cheesus' Truth or chust here for other purposes?

        Hello Alphonse! (err...checks OP...Finnish? )

Anywho, after you answer the questions posed by Brother McUinnean and Brother Bible Student, would you tell me why Finland finds it necessary to put Christ's Cross sideways on their flag?

Best pie is simple apple pie. On cleaning gun, it depends if I'm cleaning my handguns, rifles or shotguns. And if I'm cleaning for use or cleaning with care, so on average I have to say it takes from 2 minutes to 2 hours.

I don't believe in repeated, almost schechuled beatings. When you do it with enough affection message goes through once. Of course some repeating is needed every now and then to prove your point and show that you care.

Children are homeschooled untill highschool so they learn not to believe everthing they are told to. Even after that I monitor very closely both children and teaching.

I admit, it is not that often that I write my church name in english, but I assure you, my imperfect grammar does not come in way of seeking the truth of Jesus.

Alas, I have no excuse for that. I suspect it is doing of same pagan/communist factions that managed to tear church and state apart when we gained our independence at 1917. So untill we are again true christian nation, this is the sad state of affairs.

                It is brother.

They call it Suomi sometimes too. Some insist it's a different language but they're 2 divergent dialects of the same language. I can speak a little of the Suomi dialect, but sadly not enough for missionary work. Luckily most Lappo-Finns speak very good American.

'On kaunis päiva poronmetsastykseen!' is a common greeting among them (if my memory serves me right.)

Unfortunately I don't speak any form of Saami. In finnish church is called "Suomen evankelisluterilainen kirkko" and people of Saame uses same name for it. Service how ever can be held in Saami. If you are more interested about this, you can find divine services in Saami here; http://www.evl.fi/kkh/to/kjmk/saame/jpkirjapsaame.pdf.

No, don't worry, I don't need any of that mumbo-jumbo or the cult they pray to. I was just curious that's all. I had a good friend at university who was Finnish, so I learned some of the language (vastly complicated and unsuited to worshipping Jesus but nevertheless a very beautifully toned language. One of my favourites to listen to if I'm honest.), though I've forgotten more than i remember now. Sadly.

Welcome anyway friend. Read and learn and praise Jesus!

That is very good, I'm impressed. Only few minor mistakes there. Still some local have played little joke on you here. That phrase refers to hunting reindeer and as reindeer is semi-domesticated animal we don't hun them. So correct form is "On kaunis päivä hirvenmetsästykseen!" referring for hunting moose. On winter it is polite to replace moose with seal.

Oh thank you! I'll remember that. Actually I knew that my phrase meant

'It's a nice day for reindeer hunting', although perhaps the joke is on me after all. Nevertheless, I still think it's a nice way to greet people, after all God wants us to hunt the animals He gave us for sustenance.

Again thanks for the correction. I really must try to learn your lovely language properly one day.

Thank you for the thoughtful and honest reply, Alphonse. I'm not sure how much of the American news makes it to your newspapers, but we have similar problems.

If I ever make it to Finland again, I would be honored to go reindeer hunting with you, and to try some of your wife's delicious pie.

Luckily voice of reason, Fox news, can be seen even in here so I know something about your situation. Having colored democrat president must seem like bad thing, but it is still much move worse here.

Infact it is that bad that I have to issue warning here. If you are faint of heart, I advise you do not read foward and what everyou do, do not read this aloud to your wives and children!

Our land is in the hands of communist femnazi! Yes, I am ashamed to tell this, but our president really is socialdemocrate woman called Tarja Halonen. And as impossible as it may sound it get's even worse. She was chairman of organisation called SETA in early 80s and that is LGBTI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex) rights organisation!

Now you know why I seek guidance outside faithfull few left in our belowed country, to strengthen my resolve in this darkness. Indeed times are dire, but the Lord tests us for reason. We must stay vigil, praise the lord and follow our true saviour.
