    I Wan't some opinions

    Hello everyone, my name is John James. I am a God loving white American and I love cars, and I love drifting. When I am not reading the bible or praying, I spend my time working on making my car better at drifting and thank Jesus everyday for giving me the power to do so.

    I came here today, because I was wondering what all of you think about Drifting. Is it a sin for my to drift my car?

    In case some of you did not know what drifting is, it consists of sending your car into a controlled slide around corners. Being sideways is a lot of fun, here are some photos to better illustrate it:

    You claim to read the Bible yet you do not know what those God-breathed words say about drifting? Drifting is the same thing as sliding. Here is what the 1611 King James Bible has to say about that:
    Psalms 26:1 -- [A Psalme of Dauid.] Iudge me, O Lord, for I haue walked in mine integritie: I haue trusted also in the Lord: therfore I shall not slide.
    Psalms 37:31 -- The Law of his God is in his heart: none of his steps shall slide.
    Might I suggest you spend less time on drifting/sliding and more time studying your 1611 King James Bible. Perhaps you are reading one of those heathen, bastardized bibles?

      Sir, I read nothing but the true bible, that of King James.

      Do you believe that these words of God are applicable to driving? It would be a shame to have to give up something so fun for God, but if it is so, it is a sacrifice I must make.

              I think it is an enormous waste of time. A man your age ought to be over in Iraquistan sending sandnigras to hell for Jesus.

                      I have never confronted him about it to be honest.

                      I do not want to insult my Pastor, but I think that everyone here is more learned and more able to answer such a weird question.

                      I feel that if I drive for Jesus Christ and spread his word to the drift community, God cannot be angry at me.

                          The Devil finds work for idle hands. There is much of The Lord's Work to do and few who are willing to seek it and Him out, but would rather disport themselves in trivial pastimes.

                            I can't imagine why driving out of control would be considered a hobby or a sport. It doesn't sound safe. If you're looking forward to meeting your Maker sooner rather than later, keep up the drifters.

                            Personally, I prefer drag racing. It's a more American style of racing and really shows the true power of the engines that come out of Detroit, as opposed to just testing the quality of your tires.
