So the premise that God is not perfectly good is accepted among here? Good to know which type of unquestioning Christian site you all are (in case you were wondering, you're one of the worsts - Bible literalists).
I have a question, assuming you don't hit me with Lycia's "Because he's God!!!" argument. Why follow the word of a malevolent God? And yes, God is malevolent. For any who creates evil is by definition, malevolent. Because he's in charge? Because you will be sent to hell if you don't?
Forgive me if I don't wish to follow the commands of one who strong arms his creations with threats of eternal damnation if they don't bend to his often malevolent will.
