They were the ones who were concerned about satanic guitar solos and people writing music that didn't glorify their God.

    Isn't that right?

Maybe the OP would like to explain more about the Priests of Syrinx?
I didn't think this was the thread to discuss this, I wasn't planning to today.
However, that was part of my username! Siding with the 'antagonist' of the song, the Priests of Syrinx prevented the descent into madness and suicide that was later portrayed by the unnamed protagonist of the song. They are preventing the same ordeal to be cast out onto their society. Combined with the ideas of the collectivist mentality, the futuristic elements, and restriction of the self, these priests aren't half bad.
However, the Soviet symbolism and the takedown "assuming control" by the higher power is also up for discussion. So they cannot always be good. There is something to take away from both sides, but I prefer the suppression of the Priests.
The username works on many levels, I didn't mean the fuss.

A Canadian who wants a U.S. style health care system? I tell you what. You come live in our capitalist utopia and I shall assume your identity in Canada.

You asked, but you were not ready for the answers queer boy.

I too lifted weights but at least I have sense to stop when wiser (like pastors) men give me advice.

If you take the Holy Bible and follow it to the letter, you'll be saved. But if you come here and start to argue against betters, you are in road to hell.

I've never understood this weightlifting business. If you have a real mans job, you'll stay fit.
PROOF: Atheists are too stupid to understand the Bible!

Proverbs 13:24(KJV): "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."

Galatians 4:16 Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

Amen. It's the worst form of vanity there is. What kind of man spends an hour looking at himself in the mirror while he poses like a spaz. It's like being in gay love with a retarded version of yourself.
