The dangers of role playing games have been well-documented on this site, and in other True Christian resources.

It is not a difficult issue.
These types of games make witchcraft seem harmless and fun, when the Bible explicitly tells you to avoid such things:

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God. -Leviticus 19:31

You may think it's okay as long as you aren't really a witch or wizard:

Abstain from all appearance of evil. -1 Thessalonians 5:22

Role playing games are a worldly distraction that won't further anybody's salvation:

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. -1 John 2:15

Part of being a True Christian is making sacrifices for GOD.

You have to throw out your satanic music, abandon all your unrighteous hobbies, and say goodbye to sinful friends who won't convert.

It won't take you long to find new and exciting JESUS-centered activities to replace the old, sinful habits.

For instance, instead of playing "Dungeons and Dragons," you can enjoy playing a Bible verse memory game!

Replace your collection of sinful rock and roll with good old southern Baptist toe-tapping songs of salvation!

Of course all you need to replace your collection of dangerous books is the Holy Bible KJV 1611.

Over the last 24 hours, I have been disgusted with things on thiss forum I have read. While I still do not completely agree with everything I read, I will assume you are all right because you all truthfully cite God's word without flaw. While I will not stop gaming and listening to heavy metal, which I am listening to right now, I will pray for myself. I also wish to "clean" my slate. I want to restart here, as I don't think people will want to help me with my problems and try to save me if I rebelled at all of you.

I lied to you all. I am not 17, I am a mere hormoanal and angry 15 year old who is not happy with his situation. I am truly sorry for giving you a false age.

Catholics are not Christians. According to God's Holy Bible all Catholics will burn in Hell! Why? Because they added and removed all kinds of things to God's Holy Bible which is not allowed as God explains in 2nd Timothy 3:16, Deuteronomy 4:2, Revelation 22:18-19 and Psalm 12:6-7.

So you have a choice here. Read the Holy Bible for yourself and figure out what Christianity is really all about. Or disable your brain and believe whatever crap those Catholics are force feeding you.

I don't understand what you mean by the bolded sentence. Otherwise, it's a school course, and your grades may have an influence on your future opportunities. So do as well as you can. Just because you know it, doesn't mean you have to believe any of that crap stuff.

Nick, you will see a lot of rhetoric here about the catholics, I come from a different perspective and you will be told in no uncertain terms not to listen to a word I have to say.

Your dilemma is that you want to do well at school but the religion class is problematic for you as you do not believe the party line that is being spoon fed to you am I reading the situation correctly?

If I am then let me share this with you , I have relatives that got sent to catholic school, they too did not believe a word of what they were taught in religion class, but because they did nor believe it they where in a better position to understand it then those that did so came top of the class, which some what pissed off the catholics.
