Wrong. Not only is the Bible inerrant, and therefore accurate historical record in and of itself, the Jewish general Flavius Josephus mentions the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in his Antiquities of the Jews, Book 18, Chapter 3.

Now admit you were wrong. If you don't, it's proof that you are hard-hearted against God and that your atheism is a flimsy sham without a foundation other than your hatred of God.

When was Josephus born?
When did jesus allegedly die?
He does not mention any earthquake or zombie army.

I said no such thing and I would appreciate it if you cease your baseless accusations. I am a deacon because I met the Biblical qualifications of a deacon, and felt called by God to take the role upon myself.

Jesus died between 30–36 AD. Josephus was born in 37 AD. What's your point? The New Testament was written after Jesus (temporarily) died, and it's entirely inerrant. Your trying to draw a straw man correlation between the date of a book's publishing and the accuracy of the information contained therein and there simply is none. As a disproof of your theory, I offer this: today, a book was published that contains false information. Conclusion: The date of a book's publishing does not effect it's accuracy.

You lost me with this one...

I spoke to the Pastor about becoming a deacon soon after my father went on to be with Jesus, and he gave the okay at the next board meeting which I, as a board member, had no influence on of course.
