So, although this might seem a little strange, I am not Christian nor Atheist. In fact I don't really fancy either because there are many flaws which I can see in both. No trying to offend anyone here by saying that so I apologize in advance if I have.

But I guess I saw this and became very interested in some of the reasons behind why people believe certain things are acceptable because if we were to live by what God has told us, then why do we drive cars and live with technology. Which was founded by science and isn't science what god is against?

I am pretty unclear on a lot of things obviously. I have read the bible once or twice and found a few contradictions but in the end it really did make sense when I was told by someone with similar beliefs to me "The bible was not written by God but, by man and man was around much longer the bible and God did not ask of us to live in such a way then".

So I ask you, what makes you so sure that everything you read in a book is true? Because I know sometimes books can be filled with the truth but some are fictional.

Again I am not trying to offend anyone I just came here in search for answers.

These things are uselful (such as this forum) to spread the Word of God (as we are commanded to do).

Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

That's an understatement.

So I ask you, what makes you so sure that everything you read in a book is true? Because I know sometimes books can be filled with the truth but some are real.

Because the King James version of the Bible is the ONLY accurate translation of the Textus Receptus. So with that cleared up, it is the True Word of God and I can prove it's true with the following scripture.

2nd Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2 Peter 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Jeremiah 36:2 Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Again I am not trying to offend anyone I just came here in search for answers.

All the answers you need are in the King James version of the Bible son.

Definitely not. I do not have a set religion as I seek to understand all and respect all opinions of the world.

I want to refer back to part of a question earlier. Was it ever said, as to why he chose that time to bring the bible to the world of man and not before when man was here? Why then?

My friend, you are confused because of sin in your life. I also was neither Christian nor Atheist for the bulk of my younger years. Simply could not be bothered with any critical thought because all of my waking moments were consumed with a passion for filthy sin. In my case, I had made the choice to be a homosexual. All that mattered were the daily trysts of sodomy and other wickedness.

But when I let Jesus Christ enter my soul, all the despair, uncertainty and fear evaporated instantly. He can do this for you as well.

Something has erected a barrier between your sinful soul and Salvation. You just don't yet realize it. Will you tell us more about yourself and your daily life? Let us help you develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Find true happiness?

I may as well seeing as this is the introduction part of this forum

I start my day by simply turning on my computer. I then let it warm up while having a shower and eating toast. I play few video games as I spend a lot of time working on one. I find joy in bringing entertainment to others and I can only find enjoyment in this kind of entertainment. I spend most of my day doing this before getting in a little exercise and then going to bed around 9:30-10pm.

I understand many people on here believe that video games are sinful and I respect that. But it is what I enjoy.

Indeed they are evil. Look, before I found Christ and was Saved(c) there were many things I "enjoyed" - I led a life of wonton alcohol fueled debauchery. Spending a lot of money to fornicate with whores and wasting precious seed. These things can send you to the bowels of hell, why would you flirt with eternal damnation?

Why would God be against science? God created science! He created the natural world we know. You can read all about it in the Holy Bible, beginning with the book of Genesis!

Many of you do not understand that I do not worship these, I simply respect them. They were brought up in a way that did not allow them to understand God as you do. I mean no disrespect and I will happily leave this forum if I am upsetting anyone.

And I do believe my step-father who was Christian believed that we should respect those who are unfortunate to see the grace of God.
So if someone was brought up to believe by others that there is a different kind of god. How is it their fault? They have not known better.

I respect their beliefs due to the fact they have yet to be enlightened by any of you. I do not believe in it myself.
