  • Allow Me to Introduce Myself

Greetings everyone. My name is Elizabeth Muller and I am currently 30 years old. I only just recently discovered this forum and thought it a good way to accociate with fellow christains. Jesus has always been an important part of my life but I believe that I first truly discovered him when I met my husband Mike. We read from the Bible every night, although sadly we cannot attend church very often as we live in a remote region of Montana due to my severe asthma. Nevertheless, I am most excited to join Landover forum. If you wish to contact me, please e-mail me at no private email addresses from the unsaved.

Hello, friend. We don't allow unsaved members to post their email addresses. It is a protection for both you and us. There are dark and evil forces who would attempt to lure you in with promises of wealth from Nigeria and the like. It is also for our protection, so someone we don't know cannot give bad advice or spread untruths through their unsaved opinions.

    I'm sure you understand.
Praise and worship with Pastor Will. Services at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

A cautious welcome, to you Elizabeth.

I hope the ailment with which God has stricken you in no way interferes with you serving up a warm slice of pie for your husband.

      What is your favorite scripture?
People killed by God in the Bible: 2,476,633
People killed by Satan in the Bible: 10

Whose side do YOU want to be on?

I did not mean always literaly, of course that would be imposible. Even the truest of Christians is unclean when they first come into this world. I merely meant that I cannot give a very specific time as to when I found Jesus. I was raised my good Baptist parent who taught me about our savior from when I was quite young. Of course, as I said as well, my husband Mike really helped me to see clearly the path of God.

I know that God gave me my illness for a reason. Perhaps it is so that we were pushed to live in beutiful Montana where the air is clean and healthy children may be raised. And of course I am completly able to care for my husband here where my asthma is not so affected as it was when we lived in more populated regions. It always gives me great pleasure when Mike comes home to see my days work.

I hope since you can't attend church on a regular basis, your husband reads Scripture to your family every day! A family who prays together, stays together!

How many boys do you have, and what is your kitchen like?

Yes, we read the Bible every morning before we start the day and every night before we go to bed. We do not currently have any children although we are expecting in the spring.

But He wasn't your Saviour until you became Saved, was He?

ACTS 9:1-5 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem. And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
Does that sound like you Mrs Muller?
Do you kick against the pricks?

The transition from eternal damnation (although participants are typically unaware of that fact) to the certainty of everlasting life with Jesus (subject to producing children I TIMOTHY 2:15 if female) is not an event that passes without one's noticing.
                      Paul noticed.
This is what happened to him next:

ACTS 9:6-8 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do ? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do. And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man. And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

When did that Glorious Transformation from Death into Eternal Life happen to you? ..or has it not happened? — read what occurred in Damascus and subsequently in many other places here.

You are so right ThelmaSue. Maybe as a woman you can explain Elizabeth's thinking to us. Wouldn't her female bits be drying up by now at her age?

Elizabeth, please don't take my statement the wrong way as I am only concerned about your welfare and safety. Or were you inspired by Elizabeth, Mary's cousin?
Luke 1:13-18 -- But the Angel said vnto him, Feare not, Zacharias, for thy prayer is heard, and thy wife Elizabeth shall beare thee a sonne, and thou shalt call his name Iohn. And thou shalt haue ioy and gladnesse, and many shall reioyce at his birth: For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shal drinke neither wine, nor strong drinke, and he shall bee filled with the holy Ghost, euen from his mothers wombe. And many of the children of Israel shall hee turne to the Lord their God. And hee shall goe before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turne the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisedome of the iust, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. And Zacharias said vnto the Angel, Whereby shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife well striken in yeeres.

Elizabeth has alaways been a great inspiration to me. Because of her and her husband's belief in the Lord they were able to bear a son against all odds.

When I was young and naive I always fancied myself a pious little girl. I went to church, read from the Bible, and prayed. But then my asthma got really bad so that I couldn't go outside most days and my older brother developed cancer. I still went to church when I could, read the Bible every day, and prayed often, but my faith in God wavered. I think that somewhere deep down I blamed God for my trouble. I felt that he had abandoned me. Then I met Mike. His father had cancer as well and we met while going to visit in the hospital. Mike and I soon became close friends. He taught me that I should embrace whatever God has given me and that he gave me these things for a reason. He said that I would never be at peace until I truly believed in the words I read in the Bible, until my prayers meant something to me. His words spoke to me. A change came in my life. I embraced my troubles. They had led me to Mike. God has a plan for all of us and it is up to us whether we follow it. Now, I can only hope that I'm on the path God set for me.
