Do you not know what a simile is? Is this what how badly our public school system is failing us now? Thank the Almighty God that my children are home schooled. Here, allow me to do their job for you.

Because I don't want to waste more precious bandwidth, I'm sure your next question is "but I thought we were taking this literally?"

For which I reply: If it had used the word "like" instead of "as", would you still be asking this incredibly idiotic question? I know how you teenage girls enjoy spouting the word "like" fifteen times for every "idea" expressed. I use that term loosely.

Please stop cluttering up these boards with this kind of nonsensical trash. I'd really rather not spend my time looking at a drawing of a tranny speaking french.

Gwen, I saw that you posted something about your breasts, and then a pastor wisely deleted the post. If you want to talk about your body parts, I would suggest you have that conversation over in Auntie Flo's Prayer Shack for Women, where it won't be seen by children.

Regarding your complaint that it's a pain to do anything without a bra, I must caution you that it's never a good idea to do anything without a bra. And you should wear a shirt or dress over that, of course.

Gwendolyn, it's nice to see young people like you expressing yourselves artistically. I hope you're not as flat-chested in real life as you are in that comic, however, as I fear that would hinder your efforts to find a husband.

No. A lot of people believe that faggots and liberals won't burn in hell, that's not true. The bible is the word of God, there is no room for interpretation, justification, or half truths. If you do not follow the path that God set for us in the bible, you will burn in hell. God hates you.

    Wait a second.
A few days ago, it said 'repulsive teenaged whore' next to my name. Now it's back to 'rabid teenaged godmocker'. Make up your minds, which am I?
And I love how you guys are all about taking the bible COMPLETELY LITERALLY. Okay, let's do that, then.
    1 Peter 5:8
So, the devil's a lion, then? Every lion that roars is the devil? If we're going to take the Bible literally, that's what that means, right? You know, I made a comic about you guys, which my friends found very entertaining. I think I'll share it with you, I think I captured the general beliefs of this site very well. The stick figure with the brown hair represents me.

    Re: Goodbye

Hello friends, and Unsaved Trash. This entire thread clearly shows how warped and delusional people become when they don't understand the True meaning of the bible. When anyone goes anywhere except Landover Baptist, they hear a false prophet quoting something from our holy KJV. He will never quote every verse or explain every meaning. Anyone afraid to share the entire bible without biases, but does so to their own gain, is a false prophet by definition. Plain and simple. God gave us every single word for a reason, because when they are not all used, man is able to capitalize on some words to confuse and manipulate people. They are used to divide; thus conquer and rob their victims of not only their time, but a predesignated portion of their income as well. God didn't want this so He had the whole thing written, translated, and published KJV so we can have the whole thing! This is why this teenage trash is confused. Because everyone except Landover Baptist is using the bible to control and manipulate their followers.

Unsaved Trash, please, please try and understand what it means to be a True Christian. I'm new here, but I may be able to bid you good advice. If at any time you feel angry/offended/hurt than you got the point. If you continue feeling angry/offended/hurt than you missed the point completely. Thank God for Landover Baptist.

Obviously not or Muslims would also be right and that can't be so.

And Captain... the feeling is mutual.
How could you compare people's thought over Obama, to that of his majesty Christ JESUS??

    Ideas?
The Bible indicates that Hell is God's vast Lake of Fire.

After He judges you, He will cast you into it, along with all the other sinners. There, you will be burned alive, never being consumed, unable to die, and with no chance of escape. The only "music" will be the shrieks and wails of unbearable agony emitted by you and your fellow sinners.

Sound like fun? Your future -->

The Bible is the moral guide for something over 3 Billion people alive today. What else is there to know about it that proves The Bible's critical importance?

Yes, but the Bible wasn't written by just anyone. It was written by the supreme being of the universe. Any time you examine a claim, you have to look at the credibility of the author, and I can't think of anybody I trust more than the omnipotent being which created all things.

    Also, I loved this line:
You are not going to convice us with appeals to science. We accept the Truth of the Bible over the findings of science. When the findings of science conflict with the teachings of Scripture, we will reject the findings of science every time.
That is incredibly narrow-minded. We are learning a lot more than people in Biblical times ever knew. They wrote only what they knew. Of course something is going to come along that disproves it. For example, we now know exactly what sort of genetics is involved in reproduction. When the Bible was written, they knew nothing about that. But are you still going to say there's no such thing as genetics just because the people who wrote the Bible didn't mention them? Again... that's just plain ignorance.
That would be like Isaac Newton saying, "Okay, this is my theory on gravity. If this is ever refuted in the future, ignore it. I'm still right, because I know everything, and the people who experiment with it years from now won't have better equipment and knowledge at their exposal."
In simple terms... you don't like being proven that you're wrong. I already knew that, but it's nice seeing it laid out nice and simple.

And I don't know anything about snooker. Looks like Pool or Billiard to me. Now I know you're just messing with me, a simple Google search reveals that The Crucible was written by an American named Arthur Miller during a time when the country was in fear of attack by communists and were constantly trying to hunt out any that lived in America. The 1950s, I believe.
