I can't tell you how bad this site has made me feel.

I'm a Christian Scientist and I'll be honest that I've never really read the bible very much. But you 'people' have shown me how following the bible is full of hate and not the compassion and acceptance I grew up with.

You have done something big: now I doubt my own beliefs I had all my life. Does the Jesus I grew up with exist or is he this monster that a strict reading of the bible says he is.

I go to church and I'm a good person but I guess I may as well just quit as the the God of the bible isn't the one I grew up.

I don't know whether to thank you or hate you.

Not much of an introduction.

Here is some logic for you:

If you are a Christian you must beleive in Hell

Psalm 55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

If you don't want to go to Hell with all the wizards and dogs you need to follow all of the Bible (KJV1611) TO THE LETTER.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

That is what being a True Christian(tm) is about.

Simple logic. Unless you arn't clever enough to see that

Friend, I guess you never really followed the Bible, have you?
Tell me, when you were a child, did your father tell you to clean up your room or mow the lawn? Did you ignore him because those may of been unpleasant tasks? Of course not. You did what he said because he was the head of the house. Well, God is the supreme head of the house and it just so happens, we follow His rules because we want to go to Heaven. Don't you?

Hi again Thinks!

I'm sorry you're all sad and stuff.

But you shouldn't be mad at us, cuz all we're doing is being good Christians and spreading the words of God!

That's what JESUS wants us to do! See, I know some of the stuff in the Bibe seems all mean and cruel and all, but it's in there, so we follow it. Do you understand?

Like, it seems kinda mean of God to make homos and lezbos and then to send them to HELL, but it's in the Bible, so I believe He does it for a reason. Just cuz I don't know what that reason is doesn't mean GOD doesn't have one!

Well first, if I was a Christian scientist, I'd feel bad too since I'd be bound for the Lake of Fire. Just because you grew up believing God was some sort of Christian Santa Clause doesn't make it true. You know who you should be blaming for how you feel right now? Your parents!

God set His Laws down in the King James Bible. It's beyond me how so many people who claim to be Christian get it so completely and utterly WRONG!

It's not hard, for gosh sake! Just read the ding-danged Bible! Start at the beginning, read the WHOLE THING, and DO WHAT THE HECK IT SAYS! Seriously, is that so complicated?!?!

Just a quick question: How can you be a Christian without reading and knowing the Bible?

The Bible is our only source of information about CHRIST, whom Christians must serve, and yet you've gone your whole life simply making it up as you went along.

And what authority do you have to claim you know what the "real god" is?

I suppose you have some mystical source or revelation the rest of us can't see and therefore we must rely solely on your word.
