To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!

We are Bible-believing Christians, which means we take everything seriously because the world is going to Hell and it's up to us to try and stop it, even though Jesus has already stated that few will be saved (Matthew 7:13-14, 21-23). We try because it's the only way Jesus will be happy. And all we can do is live each moment for Him. Hence, our reaction.

So it's no wonder you've lived so long, brother. May God give you many more years.

I meant nothing malicious. It seems to me that the apotheosis of Jesus is a wonderful thing. The word has no connection with scripture, but it simply means a man rising into godhood. Isn't that what Jesus did?

            No. Jesus = God.

Friend, you already stated you have no interest in 'rising into anything' though most of you EMO's want to get a rise out of good, Godly people.

Jesus most certainly did not 'rise into Godhood'. God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit anre and always have been, one and the same.

Why won't you snap out of it and get right with the Bible.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

                I agree with Brother Hutchins.

John 1:1 states: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

Then, in John 1:14 we read: "And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us . . ."

Moreover, John didn't throw around fancy terms like, "apotheosis".

You need to pull your head out of your nind end and stick your nose in your Bible.

                That'll learn ya.
