I'm glad to hear that you consider The Bible to be a reliable source which can be misinterpreted (thereby applying its truths in some manner intended to deceive).

Obviously for that to happen there'd need to be a correct "interpretation" which did not deceive.

I noticed that you're studying chemistry for some reason so you'll have encountered the idea of atoms by now, I'd expect. It isn't a new idea of course and the word has quite an interesting provenance. The word chemistry also has a fascinating etymology. Recently we've been getting a review of the dialogue between the Stoics and the Epicureans on the radio and many of those ideas inform modern ethical and scientific conversations so we can see where we are ourselves positioned on the arrow of time. Is any of this stuff covered in your coursework (history and philosophy of science for example)?
