I'm Freddy and I'm fortunate enough to have loved Jesus all my life. I'm an Evangelical Christian. My favorite bible verse is Psalm 26. It's probably a very common favorite verse, but that does not make it any less beautiful. I made the mistake of posting elsewhere before this forum; I apologize.

Re: Hello!
I'm not going to give out the name of my church here out of respect for them, especially as you seem unhappy with my being Irish. I've never been raped. I've read that thread. I'm not trying to be disrespectful; I wouldn't have joined this forum if I didn't share your opinions and beliefs. I love Jesus and this was the highest concentration of like-minded people I could find on the web. Thank you for your time in writing that post.James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Re: Hello!
I attend church on Sunday in the sanctuary of local Christian school, there are no other non-catholic churches in my area. On the church website there are pictures of minors with their full names captioned; I will not infringe upon their privacy nor break the law. This is a very large, public forum and even though you all seem to be good Christians that doesn't mean everyone who comes here is.

There is no Martin McGuinness in my family. Thank you for being so welcoming.
I am unsure of who your response of "Unsaved not welcome" was directed to, Pastor Ezekiel. I am Christian, so am confused if it was meant towards me. If it was directed towards my comment about the forum's publicness; anyone and everyone can read these posts as long as they are literate.

Why are all Irish surnames brands of beer with mick in front of them?
Serious question, not a setup for a joke.
Wait, I think I know the answer.

They aren't all brands of beer with 'mc' or 'mac' in front of them, but I'll admit mine's a bit stereotypical.

Re: Hello!
Hello Freddy McGuinness. I do not understand how putting your church here is against the law but I do not know Irish law. I do know that there are a lot of Irish policemen in the movies and on TV.
I am glad you are not a catholic person. They pray to statues and one of the Commandments tells you not to do that. I can look it up for you if you want me to. It is in the Old Testament.
Thank you.

Re: Hello!
I am aware that praying to saints is a sin, when my parents died my aunt and uncle were kind enough to read the KJV with me and help me understand it. They took me out of public school a year and devoted my studies to bible lessons.
I must respect the privacy of minors, it's terribly easy to track people online these days :/

A catholic church that uses the KJV? Or were you a Christian at one point? So what are you now? Are you a catholic or a Christian?
Your tale confuses me, lad.Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

Re: Hello!
I was raised Catholic until I was ten years old. My parents died in a car accident. My aunt and uncle were kind enough to take me in, but were not going to allow me to continue to be Catholic. I have been an Evangelical Christian since I was eleven, and had learned about how Catholicism was wrong.Originally posted by Levi Jones View PostA catholic church that uses the KJV?
