1. Why do you call the pope (you know the fella with the stupid hat) God's representative on earth, and why do you all have to go through him to get to God? - just by the way God says that he does not like a hat to be worn when praying,:

2. Why do you allow your "church" to be a save haven for perverts?

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost [which is] in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

3. Why do your "priests" not marry?

1 Corinthians 7:2

Neuerthelesse, to auoid fornication, let euery man haue his owne wife, and let euery woman haue her owne husband.

The main words here being [sic] "every man". This the raises the question:

4. Do you not consider priests to be men? If not what are they?

1. In the Bible, Jesus makes Peter the first pope because he needs someone to lead on earth. Although there are multiple verses in the bible, this one explains it best. "And I say also unto you, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I shall build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Peter, as you know, means rock or stone.

We do not have to go through him to get to God; the pope just helps understand the church's teachings and also, with the guidance of the holy spirit, helps our understand new issues that weren't around when Jesus was on earth, like abortion or gay rights.


2. Our church is not a safe haven for perverts. If you could point out an instance or a something, than I could go more in depth.

3. This is for all of the priest related questions. First off, yes they are men. They are men who do not marry or have children because they spread the faith. The Catholic church feels like if they have families, than they won't be able to entirely dedicate their lives to God. Being a father and husband is a serious and time consuming vocation: if priests married, than they wouldn't be able to fulfill both that vocation and their religious vocation.

When it says every man owne his wife and so on, it not say every man must marry. That is indicating that the man already has a wife and must stay faithful. Not to be going out with a bunch of women or men but saying with his own.

How could Peter be the first pope if he died 300yrs before the RC church was founded?

Then why do you cnfess your sins to a priest, who then gives you absolution until next time you call in for a chat?

I am not talking about the Catholic Church. I am talking about the blasphemey that is the Roman Catholic Church. I quote from Wikipedia (as this is the only source you would understand:

"In 380, Christianity became the state church of the Roman Empire by the decree of the Emperor, which would persist until the fall of the Western Roman Empire and, later, with the Eastern Roman Empire until the Fall of Constantinople"

So if the Roman Catholic Church was founded 300yrs after the death of Peter how could he be the first Roman Catholic Pope.

Sir, I never said the church was perfect. It's made up of people and yes, people sin, no matter what religion. So I'm not saying these things aren't true: they might be. But in general, priests are not like that. You can't just say that because some people made big mistakes in a religion that the whole thing is horrible. That's like saying, "Well that brother is on drugs so the other one must be too."

I have found some things about Baptist church's too. This is from abpnews.com: "The unmistakable message of silence and do-nothingness is that, among baptists, clergy sex abuse is usually treated as no big deal." It goes on to relate cases of sex abuse: that was on January 21, 2013. But I guess the media failed to report these cases or multiple others.

How am I a hypocrite? I admitted that some priests did the same things. You just can't admit that you aren't perfect nor are any baptists. True Christians are not perfect. God is the only one completely free of sin and Jesus, of course.

Yes, I did. But in all of those verses that were pointed out, Jesus was saying You CAN obtain perfection. And yes, you can. But perfection would mean you have NEVER sinned; that you are all good. You just can't say that. Yes, you might be very good but perfect...no.

You have never sweared? Never missed church on Sunday? Never lied? Never been jealous of other people's things? Please, even a true Christian has faults.

What did Jesus tell the man with the infirmities that he healed at Bethesda?

John 5:14 Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

Where in either of those situations did Jesus say "keep on sinning, but remember to 'tag out' with your local priest so that I can keep forgiving you over and over again.
