Ruth: " The Holy Bible don't say not to swear, it says not to curse."
Well, that is a good point.
And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. Leviticus 19:12
However, we should not spew forth that which is foul, unseemly, and not in accord with Christ's holy nature.
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them. Proverbs 8:8
In order to shield women and weak men from the froward and perverse, we attempt to change some profanities to harmless words. I think that is what you mean when you write that someone is changing your posts. Our servers, running the JesOS(tm) operating system, automatically detect and replace certain words.
Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones. Proverbs 16:24
Let the words be pleasant and righteous; let there be no perversion in them. Also, get the warden to give you a Bible (King James only) and be sure that you use it frequently. Nothing justifies a post on this, God's favorite forum, like a good pithy Bible quotation.
Now, I take it that you are imprisoned (probably unjustly) for some crime against the GOG (Government Opposing God) which rules America. Care to tell us about your personal tribulations?
I've learned that swear words are nothing more than filler words. And alot of times the swear words don't mean what they stand for.
I ask that ths word not be changed because it is an acronym (I think that's the right word) Fuck actually stands for Fornication Under the Current King. And Shit I believe actually means Store High In Transport.
I learned that from watching history channel. I'll stop now
People want to sit there and say end racism, right. Why not sit there and act on ending intolerance

Further proof that television rots the brain.
Did you learn to worship rocks on the Discover Blasphemy Channel?
Bible boring? Nonsense! Try Bible in a Year with Brother V, or join Shirlee and the kids as they discuss Real Bible Stories! You can't be a Christian if you don't know God's Word!
No, I learned about Shinto from books. And other resources. As I said, I don't worship rocks...
May I ask a question, without starting a firestorm. Why is it that most people who worship Jesus look to the cross? That was the pause in Jesuses journey. Most Christians I've come across look wear a cross or look to it for guidance. Isn't it true that that could be looked at as worshiping a false idol. The cross, not Jesus.Because they're paying homage to a torture device that was in use long before Jesus and the thieves were placed upon it.

Then why are there so many Shin-Toe shrines to rocks?

Because most people who call themselves Christians are false Christians.
At my church, and I believe at Landover as well, nobody wears a cross, and there isn't one in the building. While we recognize that the cross symbolizes God's temporary sacrifice (coming to Earth as a human and being executed in a most humilating manner), we also recognize the risk of idolatry you mention. There is also the risk of focusing on death, like emos and the Catholic Cult do with their crucifixes (idols of the moment of death).

The shrines, if memory serves me well, are to symbolize the passing of their ancestors. I do believe that everything has a soul. Trees, rocks, everything material has a soul.
I try to ask real questions to help me learn about different things. When one stop learning, that's when you die.

How would a shrine to a rock, which has its own soul, symbolize the passing of human ancestors, whom I assume have souls of their own?
If the rock has a soul, when I split the rock into two pieces, does the larger piece get the soul, or does it now have two souls?
How about when a rock is weathered into sand? Does it then have thousands of little tiny souls, or does the one soul keep track of all the bits of sand as they spread all over the world?
What of igneous rocks, which are made of cooled lava? Did their souls exist before the rocks did, and if so, where were they?

What kind backwards thinking is that. Rocks do not have "souls" They do have personalities, they do not react to the world around them, they’re feeling can not get hurt. They do not go to heaven or hell on Jesus judgment. No rocks are just inert matter. If they are arranged in a pleasing manner we can thank Jesus for that.
Science has long shown all living things have spirits; the life force that animates their flesh. All it is a kind energy that drives the creature, like electricity in a computer. When the animal dies the spirit also ends.
Humans, and only humans, have souls, which is God’s special gift to us. Souls are indestructible and will exist for all eternity. Quit trying to get yours in trouble with your origami, tea cup worshiping cult.
Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.
Tradition and the family: The family is seen as the main mechanism by which traditions are preserved. Their main celebrations relate to birth and marriage.
Love of nature: Nature is sacred; to be in contact with nature is to be close to the Gods. Natural objects are worshipped as sacred spirits.
Physical cleanliness: Followers of Shinto take baths, wash their hands, and rinse out their mouth often.
"Matsuri": The worship and honor given to the Kami and ancestral spirits.
So please stop with the rock worship stuff. I'd really appreciate it.

Bobby-Joe, how do you know that only humans have souls? Everything life energy, which can be interpreted as a soul as well. One can draw strength and energy from their surroundings. That is what we call Ki energy, asformentioned, life energy. I believe souls and life energy are one in the same...

I don't know. what i do know is this:
There are "Four Affirmations"in Shinto:
Tradition and the family: The family is seen as the main mechanism by which traditions are preserved. Their main celebrations relate to birth and marriage.
Love of nature: Nature is sacred; to be in contact with nature is to be close to the Gods. Natural objects are worshipped as sacred spirits.

What you just posted (highlighted in red) indicates that you DO worship rocks (and other "natural objects").
Are you embarassed by your own cult, which you clearly do not even understand?
What's a Kami? Is it anything like a Kiwi?
