Because jabbering chinks with swords tend to make people feel uneasy. If you were a guest in somebody's house do you think you should be allowed to intimidate others because of your violent Shinto obsession? No, of course not. We expect the same treatment.

Re: Curious as to why my name was changed

Ok, so according to that which you posted I should consider myself a Shinto Warrior because in the four years I've been with it, I have achieved my goal. Fair enough, then. Thank you for your help, I will no longer "cry" about the moniker in my SN. With the knowledge I recieved just now, I have been enlightened.

I am not violent, but i would appreciate respect. Have I done anything to garner respect from you, probably not. But, I also have not done anything to make people uneasy. As far as I know...

Just keep your Shinto away from me. It's a discipline of the japs and look what God did to Hiroshima.

The American military with the help of German scientists did that to Hiroshima. Unfortunately, God had nothing to do with it. Granted all of the materials and such used in the manufacturing and development of the atomic bomb were made by god, so maybe you're right, God did do that to Hiroshima...

Re: Curious as to why my name was changed

the reference to being 6'5 and lean was about my height. Nothing homosexual was referenced and it was also in response to an apology from Sister Mary Marie. So why did I recieve an infraction?

Ok, I'm going to reverse it. Not because I don't think you're queer; but because you agreed God killed those japs. I don't want to discourage you when you seem to be finally getting it.

How could you be a japanese if you're 6'5"? You would have to be the tallest one there, for sure. Do you play basket ball? Or are you just a lonely goth?

Re: Curious as to why my name was changed

I've always gotten it. I was born and raised in an Episcopalian Household. I was raised Christian. What happened was, I started asking questions about things that seemed difficult to understand. Unfortunately, the answers I recieved didn't answer anything. so I went exploring all religions and came across Shinto. It answered a great deal for me.

One of THEM. Just chooses whichever religion seems nice at the time. I would bet that you like to incorporate parts of other religions, too, but just the nice parts, no doubt. The sword play is just to turn on chicks, right?

If a caucasian is born in Japan and the parents lived in Japan for a number of years, does that not make that person Japanese? I was born in Nagoyo back in '76. Me and my parents moved to Philadelphia in '80 just in time for my brother to be born.

No the sword play isn't to "turn the chicks on" It's legit. And yes I did incorporate other religions into my upbringing, but not just the "good parts". One could refer to me as ecclectic if they choose, but I have stayed with Shinto and the art of channeling Ki or life energies for the last four years. I've also incorporateded the bushido code into my everyday way of life...

Let me guess, and you're martial art is "eccelectic" too. Guys like you are a dime a dozen.
