When presented with facts that clash with our beliefs, we should reevaluate our beliefs and change them accordingly. For instance, the Earth is no more the center of the universe than it is the center of our own solar system. Not only is this fact, but nowhere in the Bible does it actually state that the Earth is the center of the universe. To believe otherwise is a level of naivety that is astounding to me.

Oh, and my favorite Bible passage is Matthew 7:1-2.

"Judge not, that ye may not be judged, for in what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged, and in what measure ye measure, it shall be measured to you."

I honestly only registered for this forum after having been led here by a friend. I must say I am disgusted with the level of bigotry, racism, and hate amongst a Christian group. You are half a chromosome away from being the Westboro Baptist church. Unless of course, you also believe that our soldiers in Afghanistan are dying because God is angry at America for allowing gay marriage, in which case you are right there with them.

And yes, I did read the "BEFORE YOU FLAME US" post. It did not help your case. Inventing statistics and polling small groups of like-minded people does not impress me.

Although the government is lying to us about the events that occurred in Roswell. A military surveillance balloon? Suuuuuuuure.
Do you understand what "introduction" means?

Tell us your name, gender, age, location, and most of all, tell us about all the degenerate sins you wallow in. This isn't a side-show for you.

I don't understand why these things have to be separate to people like you. Is it that hard to believe in evolution and Jesus? Or to think that MAYBE in this vast universe of ours, God does not base his timetable on that of the Earth's?

I do not mock God, I mock you. You are not God.

Amen! No false Christians will get into heaven. Only those who both do and believe.

"You hypocrites, Isaiah aptly prophesied about you: ‘This people honors me with their lips, yet their heart is far removed from me. It is in vain that they keep worshiping... because *they teach commands of men* as doctrines.’” ~Matthew 15:7,8
Do you understand what this is referring to in context? Jesus is verbally chastising the Pharisees for following the oral commandment to wash your hands before eating when they refuse to make children obey their parents at the point of death as the Old Testament commands. Jesus is saying the exact opposite of the point you were trying to make here.

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death. (Old Testament Law Jesus is saying should be upheld)

    5 But ye say, (through your own private interpretation) Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. (You nullify the Old Testament by not taking care of your parents by the private interpretation that you can give money to the temple instead.)

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Jesus is telling the Pharisees to uphold every word from the Bible.

"“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you resemble whitewashed graves, which outwardly indeed appear beautiful but inside are full of dead men’s bones and of every sort of uncleanness. In that way you also, outwardly indeed, appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." ~Matthew 23:27,28
Again, this scripture is saying the exact opposite of what your are claiming. This is part of Jesus' rebuke to the Pharisees for not following the Old Testament laws while expecting others to.

Please see Matthew 23 in CONTEXT!

2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: (the place of honor in God's eyes)

3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

Jesus preached that every person should follow God in their own way, and was very much against organized religion. You must understand that in the original Hebrew, "Church" does not refer to a building, but simply a place of worship.
The word church comes from Hebrew?
It is the Greek word ekklēsia or as the spics call it iglesia.

And no. Jesus did not preach against organized religion. He wanted them to follow His father's teachings.
