Grace and Peace to you from God our Father

In the name of our dear Lord, I am pleased to be in this forum. I came to find Jesus as a very young person, hallelujah! My parents taught me everything I needed to know at the innocent age of 5, where I dedicated my life to Jesus and confessed all of my terrible sins I had committed up to that point and was sure to commit for the remainder of my wretched life until our Savior returns to bring us home. Praise be to the blood of the Lamb!

Speaking of blood, that brings me to my favorite bible verse: Hebrews 9:22 "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."

And that leads to another of my favorite verses: Exodus 29:36
"Sacrifice a bull each day as a sin offering to make atonement. Purify the altar by making atonement for it, and anoint it to consecrate it."

Tell me, do any other members here regularly conduct this activity which was so clearly written and commanded in the Holy Word? What an honor it is to participate in the shedding of blood in the name of our sweet Lord!

We would ask that you quote the Holy Bible, the KJV 1611. Other translations are an abomination.

What church do you attend?

The blood of Jesus forever removed the need for us to spill animal blood on a regular basis to cover the stench of sin for God's sensitive nose.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Clearly I have much to learn, but I am pleased to hear this news about sacrifice as my house has become overrun by steer carcasses. I can now put an end to this. Besides, I think we can all agree that Jesus' flesh and blood is much more desirable to God than the blood of mere beasts (or even muslins!).

Regarding the King James Version, where might I access an online record of this translation for appropriate use?

As for church and family, by the Grace of God, a proper woman has been betrothed and wedded to me. I have faith that God will give her the strength to bear many a son for me, who I will discipline and train to become warriors for Jesus, skilled in spiritual warfare, striking down Satan's minions every day. I mainly conduct church services for my family in our own home (over which I maintain a strict lordship, as directed by God).

Well Tim, when I'm in a hurry and cannot recall the exact words (we can't all be as blessed as Pastor Zeke!), I go to the King James Online website. There you can read the entire Bible, or search for topics of interest.

I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment in imagining a True Christian™ in the making - may your sons all glorify the LORD like this dear child!

It is nice to "meet" you as well. It gives me pleasure to see you are "gushing for Jesus." May it be our continued hope that one day all mankind will get on their knees, taste... and see that the Lord is Good!

When I come across the despicable unsaved, I employ the use of the Roman Road, a line of reasoning so simple and yet logically intact that both children and the erudite alike cannot resit its beckon call. And if I come across one whose heart has been so hardened against the Gospel, then I close my eyes, plug my ears and quietly intercede on behalf of their soul.

Just.... Wow. Ok. Well, I must say... words cannot express the pure admiration I have for this boy and the exceptional father who allows him this opportunity to be a bold messenger of God. Seeing the fervent manner in which he delivers the Truth to these lost, lukewarm, backsliding souls brings tears of joy to my eyes. I can only hope to raise up men (and women) of God half as devoted as this! Are you a parent? Do you have any tips on raising children?

I do have a great number of wonderful children and I don't mind sharing how the LORD has directed my own path. As a woman who is inspired greatly by Titus 2:2-4, I am happy to share the wisdom I have been so mercifully given.

Thank you Mr. Pendergast. How interesting that you made such an observation! On the contrary, I claim no gifts or special ability save but that which my dear Savior has granted me in his bountiful mercy and grace. However, I was taught from an early age that God demands not only our complete devotion and blind childlike faith in him, but also a fervent desire to worship his Holiness in fanatical song and dance with reckless abandon. For it was written by King David (the most skilled of worshipers, amirite!?) in Psalm 150:

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

So as my avatar may suggest, I have been known to glorify God through song. So yes I admit it, I am a praise and worship MACHINE! Through no power of my own, only the Lord's, am I able to play the guitar, piano, bongos, triangle, egg shaker, cabassa, and the skin flute. But I assure you that all the glory goes to the Lord.

I see God has called you to the field of Theoscience. Whatever that is, may it bring Him glory as well. Maybe you could tell me about it sometime.

Tim, Praise God that He led you to His Favorite Forum. We welcome you in the name of Jesus and greet you with an holy kiss. Your spouse no doubt considers it a blessing to submit to you. Your photo suggests that any woman would submit to you - and that any man would respect the Godly way that you serve our Lord. How I would love to witness your abilities with the skin flute. Some shun this instrument, but I have always been interested in its intricacies. Is it true that it is best to alternate the amount of pressure with which you hold it, and as you slide across it that you should keep your lips moist and smooth? Where did you first learn to play?

Amen to that! I shed animal blood for Jesus with my Smith and Wesson 500 Mag Hunter each and every day. Are you a shoot them through the head or a shoot them through the heart man?

...Some shun this instrument, but I have always been interested in its intricacies...

My wife is a skilled skin floutist too. She has a great tonguing technique and strong embouchure and likes to hum as well to create interference patterns for interesting effects.

I like to look deeply into her eyes as she serenades me. It moves me greatly.
