    Hello Landover Baptist Church

First and foremost I must say that I am a Christian. I believe in one God, who came to earth as full human full God and lived a perfect life that we could never live before dying a perfect death so that when the world dies, we may go to Heaven if we believe.

That being said, some of the beliefs expressed on this website I find absolutely revolting.

Before you write me off as "unsaved trash", hear me out, as a judge would do before condemning the accused.

Like the term "unsaved trash". Does the Bible not say "Love your neighbor as yourself"? The verse does not say "Love only the neighbors that agree with all your ideas and believe exactly what you do". It is a simple command with a simple meaning. Also, how are you to spread the Gospel and bring the Good News to the last, the lost, and the least if we are full of undue elitism? You are no better than your unsaved brother. Just because your salvation is secure doesn't mean that you are the better human out of you and the sinner.

We are all sinners by nature. Nobody was born with a perfect and saved soul, even you. We are all dead inside and the only reason we are worth anything at all is because of the insane love of Jesus.

Now, the racism. It's abhorrent. As I mentioned above, the verse "Love your neighbor as yourself" does not exclude those with a different color of skin. That's disgusting and again, inhumane.

There are multiple other issues I have with the ideas here, but I believe that I have expressed enough fodder to be discussed. I wish you all the best and I look forward to further unearthing truth with you.

    God bless,
    Tessa

Actually, yes, it does, because that's how Jesus defined who your neighbour is (PWNS explains it quite clearly here): Bible Answers: Who are our neighbors? Who are our brothers and sisters? Who are we to love?

    Hope this helps.

I am glad you get how that works. A lot of people call themselves Christians but refuse to acknowledge that all unbelievers will burn in Hell for all eternity. In other words almost everyone will go to Hell. (Matthew 7:13-14)

That being said, some of the beliefs expressed on this website I find absolutely revolting.
Can you be specific? Everything on this site should be based on the Holy Bible. Please point out where we made a mistake with that.

Does the Bible not say "Love your neighbor as yourself"? The verse does not say "Love only the neighbors that agree with all your ideas and believe exactly what you do".
It's almost as if you have never read 2 Corinthians 6:14–17 which explicitly forbids Christians from fraternizing with unbelievers:

14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

We are all sinners by nature. Nobody was born with a perfect and saved soul, even you. We are all dead inside and the only reason we are worth anything at all is because of the insane love of Jesus.
Jesus only loves those who truly obey him. As you know Matthew 13:41-42 tells us how Jesus will utterly destroy all those who refuse to worship Him:

        41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
5 Reasons why GOD HATES WOMEN!
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell!
James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Hi tessaoc, and welcome to our friendly forum! I think you might be confused about a few things. Please don't feel bad, that happens a lot. So many people have been taught a watered-down version of the Faith of Christ, but this will do them no good in the end. Of what good is belief in a false faith?

I see the sermon that explains this in full Biblical detail has already been linked. I would encourage you to read that carefully, and please feel free to ask any questions you might still have.

Well now this is confusing in light of the very next thing you say...

Don't be silly dear. If the Gospel Message was so unpalatable, then how do you suppose someone like me was ever Saved™?

You're mistaken, dear. We have a strict zero tolerance policy against racism.

We don't know much about you yet. What church do you go to? What's your favorite Bible verse? Are you married? Do you have children? How did you come to find Jesus, and how can you think His Message is full of undue elitism? What would you like it to be instead?
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

God makes difference between different races. Do you think He is abhorrant?

            Genesis 24:3
And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

            Genesis 9:25
And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

Welcome to you then. I am willing to accept that you have proper permission to be using the internets and visiting this web site. Is it by your husbands authority that you have leave to come here, or your father's?

I can see that you suffer from exposure to false doctrines and you are very cruel towards us here with your false accusations. You have been guided to these ideas of yours by false prophets.

We forgive you and invite you to seek Jesus while you still can. It's that or Hell. Don't go there; it's too hot.
God judgeth the righteous, And God is angry with the wicked every day- Psalm 7:11

With such a good start it hurts me that you have such wrong ideas about GOD's will (I couldn't care less about what you think of me, I know that it is my duty to spread HIS word and if I'm vilified it is sweet for it is doing HIS work and being persecuted as it is fit)

I pray that JESUS will open your eyes and ears to the TRUTH.

                PRAISE THE LORD!
