    New brother

    Hi everyone.
I live in Hungary, sorry, if my english is not perfect

The most important thing that you should know about me is: "I LOVE JESUS !!!"

Before I got to know Him, I was very lonely, depressed and unhappy.
But I know Him now, and my main goal in my life is living ONLY for Him, to sanctify my body, my soul to Him, to obey Him, keeping Him first place in my life.

I am looking for a good church and christian friends who think similar to me.

Mmmm... I have many favorite bible verse, but maybe.
      John 3,16-17
      Revelation 22,20
      Matthew 19,10-12
      etc.

I don't really attend to church, I haven't found a church wher I can feel myself Home.
I rarely go, but when I go, I go to "Golgota" or "Szövétnek".

Feeling at home is irrelevant. It's important to have a Church where the Bible is the final authority. If there is no such Church in your region you need to move. Now!

          Re: New brother

          Greetings, friend.

I have to agree with Cranky Old Man on the matter regarding your failure to attend Church. It's not about the "feelgood" of being in Church, it's about going there and kneeling before God and giving him the proper worship He deserves (2 Kings 17:38-39).

I do not know much about Hungary, as it, along with the rest of Europe, will no doubt be punished by God in the near future. What I do know is it's not like America, and I suggest taking that to heart and emigrating to God's favorite country and seeking a good Church here if you want to be spared from the fires of hell.
"And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire." Matthew 18:9

            Yes, you are right.
Obeying God is sign of true Christian.
Can you help me to decide that this "Golgota" church is from God if I attend to it?

And may I start a new thread to Prayer Request forum?
I would like to ask something, if not problem.

Anyway, I think, this LBC church is a true christian church. If God helps me to have money and possibility to move, I'll obey.

It doesn't work like that, dear. You first recognize Christ's temporary sacrifice. You then confess your sins and vow to accept Him as your Lord and Master for the rest of your life, pledging your loyalty to Him without condition, without reservation. After you die, you learn whether or not your faith and loyalty was sincere, or whether it was instead motivated by some self-centered desire on your end to avoid Hell.

              I hope that helps.

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I am saddened to learn that you are hungry. Are there no soup kitchens or other provisions for those in need of food near you? Here in Freehold, we have no problems with the poor because they are kept safely outside the gates. They sometimes wander near, but are promptly reminded that moving too close might result in Godly repercussions.

There are "shelters" and other inferior habitats a reasonable distance from Freehold, which we support on occasion. We do not feel the Lord is honored by beggars or those failing to take responsibility for their own lot.

I hope that you find food soon and that your primary reason for coming to our forum was not to beg for crumbs.

Your church is probably affiliated to the Calvary Chapel organization. It is not directly a denomination but a relatively loose aggregate of people and congregations. They have some initially very attractive doctrine: they claim to follow infallibility of Scripture, have realistic views on the position of women, want to reserve marriage between a man and a woman, etc.

Further study reveals that they are, however, not True Christians™ When it comes to their theology of Creation, the most important aspect of all! They are part of the "spherical Earth" conspiracy, and they vouch for the modern cosmological fallacy of trillions of "galaxies".

                  They corrupt, e.g., these verses:

Ecclesiastes 1:5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.

Habakkuk 3:11 The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

This means that they are, in fact, a false Christian liberal cult. As they have disregard for some key issues of the Bible, they have practically abandoned it altogether. Do not let the easy attractions of their sexual morals etc. fool you. They no longer follow the whole Bible, unlike told us by the Good Book:

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

It is highly possible God has led you here to the company of real True Christians™. Stay and learn! I'm praying for you!

                              Matthew 19,10-12

"His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.
11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given.
12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother"s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven"s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. "

                              1 Corinthians 7, 7-8

"For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
8 I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. "

How does this work in practice?
