Children are a gift, Jim! I'm sure a baby girl has just as much potential as a boy. Either way, congratulations on your new baby; she was created in God's image and will be brought up in a loving christian home. I'm getting married to my husband next month, I can't wait to have a child of my own. :-) God bless!

Hi Jim Farmer. Are you a farmer, Jim?

I have two fine sons and some daughters. Daughter do not really need educating other than by their mother in the kitchen, garden and around the house. If you have servants, they can manage them too. Mrs Bathfire managed the cook, and one of her daughters managed the cook's piccaninny!

Come the time for marriage, if the daughters are Godly, some young beau will pay you the price of your daughters. I looked on them as livestock, perhaps a favorite cow.

One tip: call your daughter something beginning with 'A', that way, if you are unlucky enough to have another daughter and you still decided to keep your wife, the next one can be "B". And lickety-spit! You only have to remember the latest letter to know how many you have! (Mind, I started losing interest after F.)

Is that the meaning of "sure" as in "I am sure you will like these sheep's innards stiffed with roast maggots, we slants do."?

        Hello CheungLinh.

I know that the KJV Bible says that Adam was created in the image of God it is in Genesis 1:27 it says:

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

He made Eve out of a rib from Adam but the KJV Bible does not say that He made Eve in His image He would have to have two faces and lady parts sorry for using foul language I am only trying to explain things.

        Thank you.

        Rusty

P.S. I think God showed a lot of forethought to make Adam both man and woman so He could use the rib from Adam to make a woman later on measure twice cut once.
Psalms 116:6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

I'm not familiar with that concept, but it doesn't really sound like my cup of tea.

Hi dear, and welcome to the forums! I'm curious as to what makes you say this. When I read the Holy Bible, I see the LORD's thoughts do not conform to your 21st century feminist thoughts:

And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

            Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days;
according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.

But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation:
and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.

            Leviticus 12:1-2; 5

This seems to upset people who think with their flesh and not their spirits. Those of us who walk the walk of the righteous do not worry about such seemingly "unfair" or "misogynous" attitudes the LORD imparts on the human experience. After all, it is His creation, and we are but a means to an end, the tools of His labor, all things are created to glorify Him (Isaiah 43:6-7). Besides, only an ungrateful, selfish, cruel person would deny a Perfect God His Rights (Romans 9:20-22).
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

Thank you for the welcome! I hope I phrased that correctly. What I was trying to say was that, while the situation is unfortunate, the baby turned out to be a girl and therefore you might as well try and make the best out of a bad situation. Teach her about Jesus and his learnings, and make her be the best Christian she can be, considering her limitations. :-) I'm by no means a feminist, I'll admit I'm hoping for a boy when me and my husband decide to have children. But if it's a girl I'll just try to bite the bullet and love her unconditionally, disappointing though it may be.

Don't be silly, dear. Unconditional love isn't Biblical love at all. If you wish to be holy like Jesus is holy (1 Peter 1:16) and teach your children to respect and honor you (Ephesians 6:1), you need to wait first for unconditional obedience before exerting affection (John 14:23).

I'm happy to hear that our Mission to Australia is starting to bear fruit.

We do now have a god-fearing Prime Minister by the name of Tony Abbott. When I say 'god-fearing', he is a papist
We have a God-fearing "president", and when I say "God-fearing", he is a Marxist atheist Islamofacist. That's sarcasm to show how little "God-fearing" and "papist" belong in the same sentence.

but at least he is against abortion and homer marriage. And he's sent troops to massacre ISIL.
By that measure, Rick Santorum would make a wonderful president. But he hasn't renounced his Mary-worship either and at any moment the order to destroy America could come from the Antichrist in Rome and where would we be then?

How old would the girl child have to be until I can sell her? Next week?
There are no age restrictions mentioned in the Bible, so as long as it's legal on your island, I see no reason to wait. Assuming you have a Godly capitalist system in Australia. I thought yours was a theft-based economy?

Jesus is very clear that until you have had that child you will be going to HELL. FOREVER. If you tripped and fell over a cliff or something at this stage there would be no Salvation for you. In The Bible, which is God's inerrant comminication on the subj., it is even explained why:

                    I TIMOTHY 2
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
15 Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.
                    KJV .. look up

You will notice there are additional preconditions: faith, charity, holiness & sobriety.

Teaching her to remain sober, holy, charitable and faithful is very well but until she produces her first child her eternity will be one of torment, agony and grief. That is why God made sure we understood:

14b - 15a the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if.. KJV

Why would choose to disregard such an important part of God's Plan for Salvation?

The female child is home. I am sure it is possessed. It screams most of the time, and when it's not screaming it ejects fecal matter from one end and spews a white vomit from the other end. Are there any pastors here who are able to perform an exorcism on it?

The good news is that my wife is convinced it's not possessed and has agreed to take the girl devil spawn with her to live her parents until the thing becomes semi-normal.
