Is there any proof in the Bible where it is pointed out that God has given you Americans power to categorise or did you just decide that you have the power? So if Yellowstone erupts, is it also God's way to show how much He loves you?

I just want to say a few things. First of all, most of you have never been to Finland. I'm pretty sure most of you have never been anywhere else than the US and that's why your world image is twisted. You don't know. You don't have the intelligence. All you know is what you have read somewhere and since you are from the US it's mostly pure propaganda. Your type of Christianity is something veeeery different than the REAL ORIGINAL Christianity.

Yes, this might come as a shock but Christianity doesn't come from the US and since you have no information about Europe I'll inform you. Italy is the only country in Europe that isn't filled with atheists. We Europians are realists. We believe in things when we have proof of it. There is no proof of god. No one I know has ever seen him. I've been to the Vatican several times and I didn't see any sign of God during those trips.

And praying is just stupid. How many people are there in this world. Imagine how much whining god would have to listen to all day. I'd rather make his life easier and not pray. I'm sure he has better things to do than listen to selfish people whining.

We Evangelic Lutheran Christians (majority of finnish Christians) do not believe in works but that through faith alone, we all will be saved. Here's some verses I found.

Acts 16:27-31 does speak very little of works, the guard throws himself on floor. Is that enough? What else did he do?

Also, Ephesians 2:8-9 doesn't mention anything about the works, nor does Romans 10:9.

Romans 3:22 claims everybody with faith in Jesus Christ are equal.

John 6:28-29 tells you your works. It does not say: follow my teachings.
This doesn't mean a Christian shouldn't obey Commandments of Jesus.

Luke 18:17 proves that adults should be like a child during baptism: Show me the other requirements for baptism?
Colossians 2:13 states that all baptised are forgiven their sins by Jesus.
