Why don't you look in your bible, might save something about it, god might have had some big plans for Denmark as the danish flag is the oldest one in the world. Guess Denmark is Gods little toy to play around with, giving them a flag designed by him, making them do his dirty work in the crusade and then just starting to be a hater... Being danish, it embarrasses me to see how my compatriots are denying everything.
Cranky Old Man got all his facts right except for the flag-part. This is how the Danish flag look like:



The vikings might have been some pretty aggressive and careless guys, but you also have to bear in mind that they spent lots of time drinking mjød (that time's Budweiser I guess) and swimming naked in the ocean at winter time. This I think makes up for the fact that they raped innocent animals like donkeys, rabbits and camels, and is what makes them awesome from my point of view.
