Re: 9 Reasons why GOD HATES HOLLAND!
There are so many fun things to refute-- I mean, refudiate -- in this post that I may be a bit giddy with excitement.
I will try to focus on one or two items.
Many, many countries have been run by leaders who did not speak the local vernacular.
Rome built an empire and insisted that anyone who needed to complain to them about their adminstrative policies learn their language.
Russia had many leaders who did not speak Russian. So did England. And those English leaders didn't speak English, either.
And speaking of England, they, too, ran many a country without speaking the native language.
A few American leaders have not been known to speak English all that well, but at least they provided shining moral leadership.
Next point: Where are you getting your information about God?
Certainly not the Bible.
God does not love every creature in the world.
You will not find a Bible verse to that effect.
You may find several verses that give you a warm, fuzzy feeling, but like most people who think that THEY know God, you will stop reading when you become uncomfortable.
If you find the courage to read the violent, disturbing parts of the Bible, you will make excuses and rationalizations.
If you have REAL courage, you will keep reading and discover, lo, God hates excuses and rationalizations.
It is your choice, little one.
Sincerely Yours,
Handmaiden
