Re: 5 reasons why God loves Germany.
Tumplwriter, you are just upset that Godly Germany is not all mamby pamby wishy washy. There is a Reich way and a wrong way to do things. Either you follow the Bible or you do not. You cannot flounder in the middle. You must follow the Reich way.

Dear Mr. aim for heaven,
comparing Obama and Schroeder is very hard, especially to germans, who are a little bit shy about comparing modern day dictators to historical enemies of mankind. (Note that my answer is not intended to downplay your suffering under the Obama regime.)

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Maththew 5:44
So I suggest a little tough love would do germany good.

But historical merits are no reason to glorify a country.
There are also some depressing and dark points in germanys history. Do you know that germany once had a very evil chancellor who hated America and everything the USA stands for?
(I´m talking about no other one than Gerhard Schroeder, who refused to aid the greatest President of the United States in his war against Iraq.)

Every country has its problems that it has to live down. Even Germany. It's still a great country and I'm proud to be part German.
