You bring out an excellent point, but if we look at it from different point of views. Abortion is murder, no doubt but what is worst. Abortion or a lifetime of pain. What if the woman either can't take care of the child nor afford supporting it. It is indeed a tricky question.

Perhaps you are putting up a hypothetical scenario as to a "lifetime of pain" as you are perhaps pro-choice. Who is to know if the child was not murdered the mother could not work the child into her life? Being a parent means one has to cease being selfish; that is the bottom line. There are always consequences to an action and perhaps the selfish woman should have thought about the consequences prior to spreading her legs for a man whose name she can't even remember the next morning.

If however a woman cannot be selfless and put the fruit of her own loins before herself and make room for that child in her own life, there is always the option of putting her child up for adoption. There are many couples out there wanting children who would provide a loving and caring home.

Yeah, and during WW2 the Soviet Union killed at leat 8 million people, the Nazis did that too. USA killed prisoners of war without a trial, Japan made a horrible and unjustified attack on USA (Pearl Harbor) And the fact that Sweden smuggled goods to Nazi Germany are wrong. Would like some proof of that please.

Anyhow, all this was 60 years ago, people were different back then and people now should not be blamed for what their grandparents did.

Don't forget hiroshima and Nagasaki.

People are not somehow different now than they were 60 years ago, 600 years ago, or 6,000 years ago. Your statement reveals a lack of understanding of human nature or a painful naive.

As for blaming people for what their grandparents did, well, the Bible, which we keep asking you to actually read before you post, makes it clear that God does visit the sins of the fathers upon the children. That's where that saying actually comes from.

You know who else likes to blame people for things that their ancestors did? Every miserable "minority" in America. We had to go and elect a black president just to show that we aren't a bunch of meany racists who want to whip negros silly. And the way that we have had to kow tow to the Injun's! A couple of rough hikes and smallpox infested blankets and they take us for every penny at their casinos!

70 years ago we still thought that black people were animals and the white people were superior. We do not think like that anymore, our views of people have changed. We are understand more and accept more. Of course, there are people still filled with hate and similiar bad stuff. But not all, in todays modern world the holocaust would be really hard to achieve.

About the sucuide rates, place 28 in the world, but America is'nt far behind.

About the movies, well maybe you have'nt seen all swedish movies? If you have, i think you somehow did'nt understand...

We have lower crime rates then america and we are the most democratic country in the world (according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index). I would say that it's somehow a pretty good country to live in.
