I'm sorry but I couldn't stop laughing after reading your post, this happened due to the level of ignorance that you seem to have according to your post. It's nothing to worry about darling, you're just as ignorant as the majority of Americans.
I don't know if I can manage to go as low and ignorant as you and spell and explain you some facts in such a manner that you will be able to understand, however I'll try my best, therefore I'm gonna speak SLANG just like you.
To start off, let's go back to when you mentioned that "Europeans are saving their butt", LOL, excuse me, did you just say that? I mean, you sound a little bit too arrogant for someone who considers herself a "true christian", is "saving their butt" the other meaning of financial help? Oh dear...
My second giggle came when you mentioned the fact that you spent $2000 for your room, which obviously didn't pleasure you enough, as for that money you expected them to, at least, provide you with more than (and these are your words) "2 channels...in American language". Once again, your slang is preoccupying me, did you really have a subject back in school named "American" or was it "English" ? I mean, you've been at school, right? But anyway, if you'd be smart enough, you'd have checked that on-line as these Hotels provide all the details on-line, where the costumer is able to evaluate the room quality before checking in. Other option would be for you to give them a call, after all, for someone who can afford a couple grand for a room, a simply international phone call is totally affordable.
It is also on-line that you should have done your research about its culture, life-style and main attractions, I guess you skipped that part and decide to go for an adventure, you took the risk, if it didn't pleasure you, it is your problem. Next time, do your research first.
But the weirdest thing about your post (note that I said weird, just because I do not intend to offend you once again, otherwise I would have used the term PATHETIC), is the fact that with DOZENS of gastronomic available choices (restaurants), you decided to go for MC DONALDS! Your old and sweet mcdonalds. As it probably happened with everyone else, from this point onwards, I had your picture on my head while I was reading the rest of your post...another over-weighted American citizen.
That's when the real giggle started, I do apologize, I couldn't contain myself as to stop laughing, with your amazing vacation experience, from "drunken Brits" to a gentleman selling you weed (I just giggled again). And as for your question, I'm not quite sure if you DO LOOK drug addicted and stupid, however, you definitely sound stupid, and my experience tells me that not everything that looks stupid, is in fact, stupid...but everything what sounds stupid, is for a matter of a fact, stupid... if that makes any sense to you!?
