I am just pointing out some key examples of how the USA isn’t as Godly as you all portray it to be. In the end, Canada and the USA are very similar. So, the fact that Canada is damned to hell but the USA is God’s favourite nation is ludicrous.

Please, if you can, explain to me how this is Godly.

Uncomfortable truth? I don't see why these two have been banned. What they say is actually quite reasonable. I looked into what they said, especially alloneword1, and it makes sense. I don't see why Canada is going to hell; they're doing the same things we do....

Hello Americans. I'd like to first say, that as a mature, Christian, God loving citizen of CANADA, those of you saying that God hates Canada are all so wrong.

Yes, Canada is an imperfect country. But, is America really any better? Firstly, you accuse us of being a homosexual nation. Yes, it is true that Canada does legally permit same sex marriage. However, I seem to recall hearing in the news recently that some one... who was it, some one important.. Oh yes, Mr. Barack Obama was it? Oh, I'm sorry, President Obama. My apologies. Anyways, he has recently legalized same sex marriage. In that respect, are you really any better off that us?

Now, at this point, I will be entirely honest. I have not read all of the posts in this thread. However, after reading about half of them, I know the general flow of the argument. One point I found especially interesting was that Canada is a "Communist Nation". Really now? We're communist? No, you are wrong. The term is "socialist". And even in that respect, we are very much prone to your corrupt system of capitalism, just due to the sheer distance between our nations (which isn't much, for those of us among us who are ill educated).

Another interesting thing I ran into is the fact that we are "hosting terrorists" and supporting terrorist groups. I cannot even to describe how wrong you are. Firstly, we are a member of both the UN and NATO. If you don't know what that is, look it up. You're on a computer right now, why not use it? As part of the UN and NATO, we play a very key role in COMBATING the threat of terrorism. Yes, we have possible suspects of terrorism living in our country, yes we have many immigrants from all over the world of whom you may suspect of terrorism, but I know for a fact that you have just as many, if not more dwelling in your nation.

An interesting comment I found was that one of your users said that because one of my fellow countrymen was pointing out your flaws, it shows that God truly loves America. Now, he quoted a verse, that verse being Matthew 5:10. I know it well, and here is what it says: "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." Now, did Jesus not also say to "Love your neighbor as yourself"? I'm sure he did, if you don't believe me, look up Mark 12:31. Now, it's just a tad hypocritical that you treat us Canadians, your geographical neighbor, rather terribly?

Another thing, you some one said that our "President" is Stephen Harper. Here in Canada, we call them "Prime Minsiters". Please, do your research before you insult my country.

Finally, on the topic of Canada, I read that apparently, God hates us because we're part French? First of all, let us get our facts straight. Only SOME of us have ANY French background. Most of these people are found in the province of Quebec. (A Province is what we call states up here in Canada) Now, I find this amusing, because you have just as many part French people living in the USA as we do here in Canada. Look at Louisiana. Look at the city of New Orleans. These areas have a very high French speaking population. Not so different now, are we?

Now, let's talk about the USA for a little bit. I was watching your news, and well, I realized that you currently have a debt that exceeds 1 trillion dollars. That's trillion. With a t. Canada's national debt is in the billions. That's billions, with a b. Now, one trillion is one thousand billions. And you debts exceeds that. That's pretty embarrassing.

It has also occurred to me that many of you Americans sew Canadian flags on your backpacks when you travel abroad. Why is this? Aren't you all proud Americans? Why do you need to sew a Canadian Flag on your backpacks? Oh yes, that's right. We have a much more sound global reputation than you.

Finally, I would like to say that the fact that I even had to type out this here statement is quite frankly embarrassing. You should all be ashamed to call yourselves Christians. Throughout this forum, I found countless insults spewing from either side, blatant name calling, and things that even non believers consider to be rude. What does this show you? Truly, I hope you repent.

Another thing, before I go. I wish that you would interpret the Bible properly. A lot of things that the Lord put in there have been stretched for the purpose of your argument. So, with that in mind, I shall leave you but with a verse.

This verse can be found in Matthew 7:5. "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye." I pray that you take this verse to heart and apply it to your lives.

Would have to Nuke Quebec first. Then there's the ex-injun program for about half the survivours, the ex- you name it programs because Canada believes in "multiculturalism".

Then they would have to at the very least become a US protectorate, use US currency and change over to the US tax and social systems.
