Scotland is a Presbyterian country, and legally protected as such. There are certainly Catholics, but that is not the official religion of the country.

Now, I obviously don't mean to say there are no toothless drunks in Scotland, but if there is they constitute 0.01% of the population. As for your great country (which I maintain is great) i'm sure, nonetheless, that there are many toothless drunks!

I'll break it down point by point: While there may be some ugly people, this is not a national characteristic, the same with 'stinky' people just like it isn't in the USA; as i've explained before, yes, we wear kilts for very scecial occasions (graduation etc), but this isn't what we wear usually. We dress in the same way to you guys, our teeth are just fine; We have very good healthcare in this country, and that includes our teeth.

We clearly don't live in caves, because we have electricity (as is evident by me using this forum), we also have pure running water, and incest is illegal and not practiced.

I'm a highly educated university student, and I don't drink. The people of this country drink no more than the people of your own. Yes, the kilt is our national dress, but they were only worn for battle, and these days, for special occasions. I suggest you take less interest of depictions of the Scottish you see on The Simpsons.

Where has my race been slandered? Throughout this thread is the quick answer. We have been depicted as toothless, primitive drunks, and this is clearly not the case now, is it? It is clear that the Scottophilia on this thread is from people who have never been to my country. A country at the forefront of industry, science and the arts (along with the USA and others).

Son, Al is about my age. Al invented it in California in his very early twenties, before pop culture got a hold of his brilliant mind and shut the door on his ability to have insight and outstanding creativity.
