No offence, and as a Manxman I am with you on this argument, but to be fair Scotland is not represented as a country internationally within the European Union, the UN or NATO - neither is England or Wales. You don't have a Scottish passport do you? Technically, the United Kingdom is the country but historically, yes, Scotland has existed for several hundred years longer than the United States of America.

Just an aside as it came up and I realise this isn't bringing much weight to any arguments.

Kenya is one, and is most of Africa. Scotland has been a recognised country for well over 1000 years. And while we are small, we are still very influential.

I have already answered your questions. The first 6 points i made referred to America v Scotland and had no relation to the religion arguement.

I answered the second question by stating that APART FROM THE DIETY, ITS THE SAME RELIGION. I cant make that any clearer if I tried.

Because I am proud of this country and all the things it has given us. Sure we've got our share of scumbags, as does every country, but it doesnt stop the fact that the Scottish Race is held in the utmost regard by every other nation.

You should take a look at your own country before trying to slander others.

The US of A is the most powerful and influential nation in the world. We most certainly do not hold The scotch in the upmost regard. More like the upmost contempt.

By the very nature of our place in the world, says a lot. We have been a Ture country(tm) for a bit over 200 years. How long have you been at it and still only rank as a third world nation?
