When I give birth, should it be at home or can I go to the hospital and ask for the doctors not to give me anesthesia? Thank you in advance.

Jesus wasn't born in a hospital with the aid of anesthetics. 7,000,000,000 on this planet and we all arrive one way; you'd have thought the human race would have gotten used to this by now.

You can be Saved(tm) in childbirth, but I don't think it will work if you are out of your skull on some noxious toxin.

Amen! Why should a woman like to pump herself with drugs just to give birth? Jesus was born in a stable, after his mother had traveled a long way, if giving birth in a stable without any drugs was good enough for Jesus virgin mother, then it's good enough for me! (when the day comes.)

Yes, so I should give birth at home? Should I hire a midwife...?

Did Mary, the one who delivered Jesus, have a midwife? Don't think so...
Give birth at your home, but make sure that your husband is nowhere near you when you are unclean. (and remeber to be in your shack 7 days afterwards if you get a boy, and 15 days for a girl!)

I will pray that everything goes well and that you will give God another little soldier!

Historically midwives was feared to be under the reign of Satan. A popular medieval saying was, "The better the witch; the better the midwife"; to guard against witchcraft, the Church required midwives to be licensed by a bishop and swear an oath not to use magic when assisting women through labour. I am sure that using an anesthetic could be equaled to witchcraft and it is clear that it is against what is written in Genesis 3:16

I am sorry mrs Sophia (you ARE married aren't you?) but this is a cross you have to bear to atone for the sin of Eve as is said in Genesis 3:13

Yes, I'm married. Should I be alone when I give birth or am I permitted to have my mother, sisters, etc. with me?

I would suggest the solo birth, no one wants to witness such a thing in person.
