I find this ridiculous:
I suppose that this slant (who revels in the name of FUKUDA (pron Fuck-you-da)) wants the KJV 1611 completely rehashed and such verses as
De:28:27: The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, to appear as De:28:27: The LORD will smite thee with some mild unpleasantness,
Or what about
Ex:9:11: And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.? Anyone remember when that visiting Pastor Boyle and his family came here? Sister Etheldreada ran in to Pastor Zeke's prayer closet and called out “The Boyles are in the Pastor Al Memorial Chapel!” and Zeke replied, “Jesus save us! It must be destroyed by fire! Burn the place down!”
Well, you can see the funny side now and so no harm was really done and most of his children survived.
And what about De:28:28: The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: ?
What about people who are really astonished (e.g. at God’s mercy upon the Moabites), do they really panic and start rampaging around? No!
And what about all those diseases that were around when I was a kid? “Nigra’s scab; Ayrabs’ crotch; Injuns’ Wounded Knee; Chinky-boys’ rash, etc?” Do these not help us understand the history of prayerful healing and keep us away from the heathen?

WHO issues disease-naming advice to avoid offence
New human diseases should be given socially acceptable names which do not offend people and countries or mention animals, the World Health Organization (WHO) has said.
It has produced advice for scientists and the media on choosing names.
The WHO says Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and Spanish Flu are examples of what to avoid because they mention specific locations.
Instead, names should contain generic terms that are "easy to pronounce".
The WHO said several new human infectious diseases had emerged in recent years and some had stigmatised certain cultures, regions and economies.
Dr Keiji Fukuda, assistant director general for health security at the WHO, said: "This may seem like a trivial issue to come, but disease names really do matter to the people who are directly affected."
Barrier to trade
Dr Fukuda said certain disease names had created a backlash against members of particular religious or ethnic communities.
They had also put up barriers to travel, commerce and trade, he added, and in some cases triggered the needless slaughtering of animals.
"This can have serious consequences for people's lives and livelihoods."
The WHO has listed a number of best practices for naming new diseases which have not been recognized in humans before.
They include using specific or generic descriptive terms if they are known, such as 'severe', 'progressive' or 'respiratory disease' and making names short and easily pronounceable.
Any acronyms for longer names should be checked, the advice adds.
Disease names which incite fear, include people's names, such as Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, or refer to specific occupations, for example Legionnaires' disease, should be avoided.
