  • Library Criminals Targeted by Police

I;d like access to Library records to see who is borrowing subversive material, and have them arrested as political prisoners. I'd also like to see the Borrowing of any Bible other than the KJV 1611 outlawed, while every schoolchild in the country must posess at all times their own copy, punishable by flogging/imprisonment/hefty fines or other positive reinforcements.
    This country is getting soft.

Woman cuffed, booked for not paying library fines

GRAFTON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin woman has been arrested and booked for failing to pay her library fines.
Twenty-year-old Heidi Dalibor told the News Graphic in Cedarburg that she ignored the library's calls and letters as well as a notice to appear in court.
Still, she was surprised when officers with a warrant knocked on her door, cuffed her and took her to the police station to be fingerprinted and photographed.
Police Capt. Joe Gabrish says officers follow the same procedure with every warrant.
Library director John Hanson says a couple of dozen people are cited each year for failure to return materials or pay fines.
The incident cost Dalibor about $30 for the two overdue paperbacks. It cost her mother $172 to free her.

I think I am not alone when I say that swift and draconian action often stems the slide into general immorality.

Today it is library books overdue, tomorrow it will be burglary and then it will be contract killing for drug gangs.

I look around and see too many states where people would feign shock at this remedial action - I blame the Clintons - they started it all.

The article says a couple of dozen people each year are fined for library offences...a couple of dozen and only 1 arrest?
Why are we even paying the police if they arent doing their jobs?

Personally I prefer to see local law enforcement harder at work on the growing threat of methanphetamine production in the rural community.

Over-due library books? Not so much so.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched.

A sin is a sin and all need to dealt with!

It's nice that the Library Police are finally doing their jobs and cracking down on the deabeat liberals that refuse to pay their dues. But when are they going to start cracking down on the people that deliberately choose to read disgusting perverted liberal filth like "The Catcher in the Rye" by J.D. Salinger, "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee, "The Chocolate War" by Robert Cormier, "The Origin of the Species" by Charles Darwin, "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" by Mark Twain (not even his REAL name), and "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck.

Fortunately, the Freehold Library Board caved into our demands to burn those disgusting books (and 246 others) in a giant bonfire shortly after the GOP takeover of the congress in 1994. But I weep for our Brothers and Sisters in other fine towns that are still subjected to this deadly violence poised on the bookshelf.

Well spoken sir, but then comes the consideration that our system of laws is innadequate for determiing what is right, and what is wrong. Consider anti-discrimination policy and affirmative action and things of the such.

I concur vigilence against sin is an important responsability, but often, what we render to "Ceasar" is not neccesarily in the best interest of Christianity.

I saw a copy of Bill Clintons' 'My Life' at my local library; why the library staff hasn't been arested yet, I just don't understand.

How can you expect to fight an enemy you know nothing about?

Subversive literature is important insofar as it enables you to fight more effectively against the wrongs it espouses.

Pal, what country are you from? Here in America, we've had a crawful of the Clintons for too many years now. We know enough about them, trust me. And we don't need anyone in here encouraging folks to read the communistic propaganda passed off as fact by the Clinton machine.

Here in my America, we like to win our wars. I'd only encourage folks not so easily swayed by "communist propaganda" to read that sort of thing. Anyone gullible, ignorant, or retarded enough to accept such writing at face value shouldn't be reading these boards. They should be watching CNN or drinking a latte at some cafe downtown.

As far as democrats being enemies of Jesus? Just because a person is wrong does not neccesarily make them an enemy of Jesus. You and I are wrong about alot of things, but we can still love him in our hearts.

You're right. This is positively Orwellian.

When this country began to revel in socialist distribution of knowledge, law enforcement felt the crunch-- and only now are we realizing that the police can't protect our communities, not while they're being pressured to protect our government's most radical institutions.

Books are for buying, not borrowing. If knowledge is free, who'll want to work? We've become a nation of lazy, library-patronizing layabouts.

And what about the authors? There's a reason that no decent book has seen a first edition since the advent of libraries-- there's no money in books anymore! Why buy 'em when you can go to the library and get 'em for free?
Acts 13:8 And said, O full of all subtilty and all mischief, thou child of the devil, thou enemy of all righteousness, wilt thou not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?

As a recent college graduate allow me to focus some contempt at the publishing companies for the unethical manners in which they collude with academia in order to wring money out college students everywhere for frivolous new editions. For example, you could buy a used history book for $50, but since the publishing company added a paragraph on 9/11 and restructured which chapters go where, they repackage it as a new edition, and the professor requires said reading, grats on having to buy a new book for $150 that you'll be able to sell back for $15 if you're lucky (assuming a new edition doesn;t come out by the time you sell back)

It's almost criminal in my opinion.

What are you, a communist or something? Are you against a man making a profit as the market allows?

And why are you wasting your time in a secular college? Those places are run by joos, as everyone knows.
