    BK Ad Causes Beaners to Bleat

    This makes my blood boil. Burger King, an all American fast food chain, caving in to the whims of Messicants.

    An advertisement for a new Tex-Mex style hamburger hangs in a Burger King window in central Madrid April 14, 2009. Mexico's ambassador to Spain said posters for the new "Texican whopper inappropriately display the Mexican flag, which is draped over a diminutive wrestler like a pancho. "This advertisement denigrates the image of our country and uses improperly Mexico's national flag," Jorge Zermeno wrote in a letter to Burger King in Spain, the Reforma newspaper reported. Mexico has strict laws prohibiting the defamation of the flag, Zermeno said. He asked Burger King to cancel the ad campaign that "offends Mexicans and Mexico.

    Edit, I wonder if Spain has got any laws restricting the use of the Messican't flag?

        I'm sure this would be a more proper use of their flag:

          I was lost as soon as I read 'Spanish' 'Burger King' and 'Mexican Flag' in the same sentence. Does that make any sense? Shouldn't this be a Taco Bell ad?

            And what Nobar said. What do dirty little wetbacks have to do with the all American hamburger? He should be riding on a taco over the boarder or something.

                I'm a little confused about this whole Mexico/Spain thing. I thought that it was like the whole England/Britain thing. Isn't Mexico still part of Spain? Like England and Scotland. Or the U.S. and Guam. They all speak Spanish, right? So what's the big deal?

                That's like Nevada being pissed off at Utah. Who cares!?!

                  There is a slight difference between Spain and Mexico. The Spanish are all homers and speak with a lisp, whereas the Messicants don't. Other than that they are all cathylicks and the Messicants breed like rabbits.
