  • Republican Legislature in Devastated Tennesse Calls for Prayer and Fasting

Tennesse, like Florida, North Carolina Georgia, etc. was hit hard by the hurricane. Buildings down, no electricity, roads blocked by trees and all that kind of stuff. The other states declared an emergency, called Biden and he expedited federal assistance.

The Republican Legislature in Tennesse thought of the storm as an Act of God. It did not immediately call it an emergency. It convened instead and called the citizens of Tennesse to fast and pray for 30 days. This is what I call a Christian Legislature, putting God before the whining and complaining voters.

I hope citizens of Tennesse realize and appreciate the treasure they have in their Republican Legislature. God will see to it good things come your way when God thinks the time is right.

God is really warning Tennesseans here about thinking about voting for abortion. Don't do it or else there'll be more of the same. Why nobody listens is beyond me
If I have seen further, it is by standing on the heads of others.

When fasting, it is important to remember the Jezebel spirit (a type of demon) will activate, promoting temptations of the flesh—such as feeling hungry—and very likely dressing up in eyecatching clothes of minimalist design. From the vote:
      .
The state’s lawmakers approved House Joint Resolution 803 overwhelmingly in a 27-1 vote in the Senate in an 82-6 vote in the House.
I KINGS 19:2 Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
      .
"Them" - RECAP: Earlier, due to 450 prophets celebrating Baal at every opportunity and nobody paying attention to God, some fairly direct action was required. Elijah demonstrated that Baal could not ignite a fire, even if they sliced themselves with knives and wailed interminably. There were also 400 prophets of The Grove, well-regarded by Jezebel due to goings-on in the grove which we needn't dwell on here, leaving God neglected and understandably irate.
      .
18:22-40 excerpt Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men . . . call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken . . . And they cried aloud, and cut themselves after their manner with knives and lancets, till the blood gushed out upon them [but] there was neither voice, nor any to answer, nor any that regarded. And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the LORD that was broken down . . . Then the fire of the LORD fell . . . all the people saw it . . . and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

In this case, events were brought on by a drought. Once acknowledged as supreme, because He is merciful, God restored the clouds and rain and the drought was over. Jezebel must have had a very short memory. Turn the page and she's back on "the gods" doing to her, and she to Elijah, all the mischiefs of our modern era. Right after everyone's acknowledged there aren't any gods capable of doing anything. Clear evidence of demonic influence. Satan's conflicting demands must have his minions in a permanent tizzy, while God remains both clear and consistent. Symbols of other "gods" and the tomfoolery they promote should never be admitted anywhere. Yet in Tennessee they can't regulate this? The following very confused assessment throws little light on the matter: clearly the Jezebel influence is strong. They offer the pathetic excuse that they couldn't have passed (or not passed) anything because they're not in session. Not fooling me. Not fooling God. Their cited reference is included for completeness.

“BREAKING: Tennessee passes law to ban Pride Flags from classrooms,” reads the post.

Our rating: False A bill … passed the state House but failed to pass the state Senate and did not become law … The post's claim also isn't possible since the state legislature is not currently in session

I doubt from her reputation that Jezebel did much fasting. Her minions may have done so, for various reasons, and what the prophets of Baal and The Grove did is anyone's guess. God didn't like it and that's all that matters. When fasting is proposed by those unwilling to remove impiety—nihilism, freethinking, paganism and the like—can we be assured that climate catastrophes will be averted? God controls the weather and although nobody has to believe Him or The Bible, even in the face of reality, if their influence is not addressed heresy will proliferate. Satan will have a field day! But then I guess they don't believe in devils either.

I received a sending from the Father. Because of the Tennessee legislature's great piety, trusting in God rather than in the shallow works of man (such as sending food, water, medical aid, etc.), the Lord will send no more devastating hurricanes to Tennessee this season.

A fine writer today explained a related issue, idolatry. We know there was idolatry before these storms and this may well explain God's decisions. We see homers idolizing sinful sex and women worshipping the bodies of men. It's shameful and God's punishment very justified.

If you're an idolater, you should be scared right now (christianpost.com)

Thank God for the timely efforts of the TN legislature. Meanwhile the federal government continues to withhold support (as reported by President Trump).

TN and the other states, Florida, the Carolinas, etc., will help themselves by learning how to fast and pray because other hurricanes are lining up. I'm sure fasting and praying are like other skills, if you keep in practice you improve. Surely God somehow takes care of the health of the frequent fasters.

As a new and record breaking hurricane heads for Tampa, I'm a little concerned about our Baptist Brother, Franklin Graham. His property was in the last hurricane's path and his home lost electricity. His advice is that we Christians should, "Believe in God's goodness." My thinking is a hurricane is not God's goodness, it's God's punishment for sin. It is God's wrath. For example, we do not have hurricanes nor tornadoes in Freehold. We do not have, like Graham's town, Boone, NC, a homer advocacy group or a "gay bar." Pastor Zeke's hell-fire preaching keeps homerism at bay. Perhaps a little lessen for Rev. Graham??

I should have thought that that was a basic requirement of Christianity. Christians need to look a little deeper and see the Love that God is pouring into the devastated areas. At the same time, God is urging repentance. What more could a son want of The Father?

Just one state over in North Carolina, stupid false RINO Congressman Chuck Edwards has been criticizing fellow Republicans and President Trump over the spread of misinformation. I never thought I would have to read this.

“Hurricane Helene was NOT geo-engineered by the government to seize and access lithium deposits in Chimney Rock”
                    So disappointed in Mr. Edwards.

Citing some of the same rumors, Kevin Corbin, a Republican North Carolina state senator, pleaded with his Facebook followers last week: “PLEASE help stop this junk.”
I agree - but is there time to impeach him before the election? I don't think North Carolina is safe in his hands.

Great observations, Dr. Toole. To those so-called Republicans I have to ask, what is the reason for this storm if it is not to get the lithium deposit? And who is go say social media posts about possible behind-the-scenes reasons for the storm are wrong? These guys should turn in their Republican credentials.

You know, Congressperson Marjorie Taylor Greene may have really hit the matter on the head when she outed the Biden Administration as being able to control the weather. It's just another example of Liberals stealing the power and authority that God intended only for Himself.

I challenge the Democrats to send a hurricane to Freehold, IA next week any day of their choosing. Our people can tough it out unlike lily livered liberals behind the controls. Send your worst, Democrats.
