Filth and pornography were sold as unpublished letters of the 19th century (so-called) poet Lord Byron were auctioned off.
As America slept in the peaceful sleep of the Godly, Landover missed the opportunity to buy these letters and burn them. They have no place in making the world a fit place for the return of Our Savior.
Quote from Wickedpedia: Despite being a descendant of King James I, Byron resolved to escape the censure of British society (due to allegations of sodomy and incest) by living abroad, thereby freeing himself of the need to conceal his sexual interests (MacCarthy pp. 86, 314)
This, from today’s Times of London England
He got that one right but then goes on to spit and spew hatred into God’s Face
I’ll translate that for you, as Byron was obviously high on drugs at the time, “Jesus’ Supreme Sacrifice on the Cross for our sins is the same as if I took the rap for someone else. The other person is still guilty and still deserves to be punished.”!
Such lies! Such lack of logic!
Now here, we can see that Byron is quite right. The lesson is, “Just because you tell the truth, people think you are hateful.”
Just as Satan has given us the word “Satanic” Byron has given the world the word “Byronic:”
adjective: Having characteristics of the poet George Gordon Byron, such as being melancholic, passionate, and melodramatic, and having disregard for societal norms. (my emphasis)[/quote]
ETYMOLOGY:
After poet George Gordon Byron, later Noel, 6th Baron Byron of Rochdale (1788-1824), who displayed such characteristics, as did his poetry, i.e. a flawed character marked by great passion who exhibits disrespect for social institutions and is self-destructive.

Byron’s vitriolic letters on rivals and religion set auction record. A collection of Byron’s letters in which he describes a stormy affair with a servant girl, attacks Christianity and dismisses his rival poet as William “Turdsworth” were sold yesterday for more than £250,000 ($450,000). The price is a world record for a series of letters or a manuscript by a British romantic poet, Sotheby’s said.
The letters, many of which are unpublished and have not been seen by scholars since the 19th century, reveal a highly personal side of the poet — described by his lover Lady Caroline Lamb [Edit: some mad woman he went “in unto” a couple of times] as “mad, bad and dangerous to know”. The recipient was a clergyman, Francis Hodgson, who was no doubt scandalised by some of his friend’s exploits, although the two had a deep friendship that endured over many years. [Edit: "deep friendship = pair of homers – Anglican clergy have always been into that]

Byron writes happily from Portugal, noting that “the inhabitants have few vices except lice and sodomy”.

As Hodgson began to make attempts to convert Byron to religious orthodoxy, the poet offered sharp critiques of Christianity: “The Basis of your religion is injustice, the Son of God the pure, the immaculate, the innocent is sacrificed for the Guilty, this proves his heroism, but no more does away Man’s guilt, than a schoolboy’s volunteering to be flogged for another would exculpate the dunce from negligence, or preserve him from the Rod.”
Such lies! Such lack of logic!
Even more shocking, perhaps, was the description of an affair with a servant, Sarah Vaughan, which ended when Byron discovered her involvement with another man. The girl lost her job and reputation, and Byron captures her anger as she leaves “still threatening perdition, ‘thunder, horror guts & death’ ”. He adds: “I presume she will rave herself quiet.”
