I am saddend that good people have died in my country and I prayed that the unsaved souls made it to a good place.

It is very kind-hearted of you to pray for those poor men, but unless they were saved your praying will do them no good whatsoever. You see, GOD could not give a fig as to whether a person is 'good' or not -- being good does not get one into Heaven.

The LORD is not terribly fair, it would seem ... not by our lowly human standards anyway. For example, He would rather spend All Eternity with rapists and murderers who made last minute conversions, than with non-Christian miners who lived good, decent lives. Hmmm, It doesn't seem quite right, somehow ... perhaps He is so very fair that we cannot comprehend His Ultimate Fairness™, which would explain why His fairness gives every appearance of having more in common with petulant egomania, temper tantrums and the stamping of huge Godly Feet.

Indeed, God's fairness hinges upon His being praised -- and being believed in -- and then praised some more, He cannot get enough of that! I like to think of GOD as a huge bucket -- a bucket with a big hole in it. No matter how much praise I pour in it will never be enough, one can never fill His Holy Bucket. Which is rather a pity, as He thrives on praise ... so much so that we will be spending an eternity literally singing His praises, telling Him how wonderful He is. My goodness, what fun that will be! I do so hope the rapist I stand next to in Heaven has a lovely singing voice.

I do see your point Mrs Rogers. As I do not know if they were saved I will direct my prayers somewhere else and now understand that being good will not get me or anybody else in Heaven.

These men were human beings that deserved respect - they worked hard to keep their families. They did not deserve to die and in such an horrific way - you people are the most disgusting hating filled unchristian - CHRIST was there with those men to take them to heaven a place you shall never see

I would like to start with the fact that I am more disgusted by this then the MCR thing you have on this site. The men that died were good men who loved their families and their jobs. They did not deserve to die and they certainly dont deserve what you have said about them. One of those men was the son of one of my teachers and I am immensley glad that she does not have to read this filth. Those men are in heaven now with God, where they belong.

As if that makes any kind of difference at all. You people are the worst kind of people there are. Those men were good hard working honest men who lived their lives and died because of a horrible accident. They are ALL in heaven because they deserve a place next to God where you do not in my opinion. You did not know these men as you do not know me or my mother. Speaking on behalf of the NZ community I am saddened by such blatant disregard for another mans life. I personally have compassion for the men who were killed before their time as I have for those who have died in other tragic events such as September 11.

I understand that you're upset about your fellow Australians being killed. But, the simple fact remains: Only those who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior will be able to enter Heaven (John 3:16-18) and the odds are since they are Australian, that they have not. Yours is a Godless and liberal country. Your people have elected a LESBIAN ATHEIST as your president! The chances don't look too good for them. They were probably sinners and it probably wasn't an "accident". God sometimes makes an example out of people so that the rest of us will WAKE UP and accept the truth that Jesus Christ died for our sins! Don't mourn over this; rejoice, for God could've smote an unsaved trash like yourself but instead let you off with a warning.

God is more likely to smote you then he is me. Rejoice that people died, that you are disgracing their memories and attacking Australia. I have never once said I was a christian so i would appreciate it if you stopped saying this. I have nothing against real christians it is you people who use the word of God to back up your sick and twisted ways that i do not agree with.

The men that tragically died would be ashamed by this site as im sure some of them would have been christians.

I personally think you may need professional help, I can suggest several good pyschatrists and medications you can try.

Just so you know, your "mother" was banned for being an unctuous retard when it comes to knowing anything about the Bible (KJV1611) and Jesus. As an alleged adult she should know better than to teach her daughter this nonsense. At least there may be some hope for you to reach Salvation, and maybe teach your mother something.

I don't know where you get off thinking that God just created the universe and has been sitting in the Jacuzzi for the last 6,000 years. In the Old Testament He had to intercede in all kinds of things, starting with the Garden of Eden - and what a perfect place it was, much like the socialists dream of creating today. There was free food and shelter, health care and a long life with no mine "tragedies" or "disasters". God provided for almost everything except he did not want anyone watching any plasma TVs (well not really - he just didn't want anyone eating a certain fruit - if you can believe it). But nooooo, he gave mankind "free will" and well, you know the rest. Next there was so much trouble he had to kill everyone except for Noah and some of his family. Then he had to send His Son Jesus to die for all the sinning that was still going on - that "free will" wasn't doing much good was it.

Let's face it, Jesus is still calling the shots around here - everything from tsunamis and Obama to mine disasters all have His stamp of approval.
