Brise’s account states the apparition appeared in dazzling white claiming to be the “Queen of Heaven who prays for the conversion of sinners” [edit: A sure sign of epilepsy] and asking Brise to also pray for sinners and teach children about salvation. [edit: Well that’s a pretty revolutionary message! I bet the then pope was startled to hear that praying was a good thing.] Adele’s father built a chapel at the site of the apparitions soon after.
