THIS is bound to rile Jesus. As if the godless state of California wasn't already at risk of God casting them into the sea.
Looks they have a joo teaching it. Why am I not surprised.

A California college is the first to offer a degree in secularism
There's something new under the sun. While many American colleges have departments of religious studies, Pitzer College, a small liberal arts school in Claremont, CA will probably be the first to have a department of secular studies. Starting this Fall, the Southern California campus will offer courses with titles like God, Darwin and Design in America, Bible as Literature and Anxiety in the Age of Reason.
The new department is the brainchild of Dr. Phil Zuckerman, a professor of sociology at Pitzer.
From the New York Times:
Studying nonbelief is as valid as studying belief, Mr. Zuckerman said, and the new major will make that very clear.
“It’s not about arguing ‘Is there a God or not?’ ” Mr. Zuckerman said. “There are hundreds of millions of people who are nonreligious. I want to know who they are, what they believe, why they are nonreligious. You have some countries where huge percentages of people — Czechs, Scandinavians — now call themselves atheists. Canada is experiencing a huge wave of secularization. This is happening very rapidly.
“It has not been studied,” he added.
Zuckerman himself is a pioneer in the field. He divides his time between Pitzer College and the University of Aarhus in Denmark and he's studied the growth of secularism there and elsewhere in the world. He's also authored two books on the subject: Society Without God and the soon-to-be-released Faith No More: How and Why People Reject Religion.
