People are looking for causes in lightning, technical failures, etc. Ask yourselves, why has no one thought of God? Sinners dies regularly – He sees to that.

Technical messages show 'several electrical systems had broken down,' causing 'totally unprecedented situation,' airline says
PARIS -- An Air France plane carrying 228 passengers and crew -- including one Canadian -- is believed to have crashed in the Atlantic Ocean after hitting stormy weather four hours after it departed Rio de Janeiro.
The plane is believed to have suffered multiple technical failures before crashing into the Atlantic, the airline's chief executive Pierre-Henry Gourgeon said Monday.
"A succession of a dozen technical messages" sent by the aircraft showed that "several electrical systems had broken down," which caused a "totally unprecedented situation in the plane," said Mr. Gourgeon.
"It is probable that it was shortly after these messages that the impact in the Atlantic came," he told reporters Monday at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, the destination for Flight 447.
Earlier in the day, officials had seemed to be indicating that a lightning strike may have caused the crash.
Bill Voss, president and CEO of the Flight Safety Foundation based in Alexandria, Va., highly doubts lightning caused the crash.
"At this point in an investigation, you don't rule anything out," he said. "But I would not expect lightning to be the cause," Mr. Voss said. "Aircraft are really designed to take lightning strikes pretty well. They specifically are designed to route the energy of the lightning around the skin of the aircraft. And the electronics systems on board the aircraft are designed to resist the electromagnetic pulses. So it would be very unusual for lightning to cause the loss of an aircraft like this.
