And I thought our local rag (that used to have its own foreign correspondents in all the major world capitals, not bad for a town of under 100,000 population) had gone downhill. It's a pity that the Des Moines Register not only cannot afford spellcheckers (it's "priest") or copy editors (schools have principals, not principles) but getting the date wrong (September 21, 2013 is today, and it's a Saturday) is just sad.

Yes, I caught that too. Sad, but that's today workmanship.

I'm surprised they used my words, "fish on Friday schools"--probably I should not have said that. They made me so darn mad I couldn't stop myself.

Yes, it was a great experience and I hope I'll be considered for future events. Perhaps with a bit more rehearsal time it could be even better?

Hopefully nobody will listen to this kiddy-fiddler in whose interest it is to see that children do not understand why it is important to respect God's Laws.
