    Need New Gardening Staff for Spring

    I need to hire three new men to manage gardening chores on my property to get my garden and lawn into shape for spring. Job should take 4 to 6 weeks, modest accommodations provided. Prefer recent immigrants or drifters without any family or friends in the area. Must be under 5'7" to fit into small doorway on gardening building, prefer strong fit men less than 150 pounds.

    Also, I'm looking to purchase an industrial meat grinder that can handle carcasses of large game up to 5'7" long and up to 150 pounds. Need to purchase withing 4-6 weeks.

    Have you tried ebay? You may be able to get the meat grinder there.

    I am just about to sell some things on ebay myself, unless anybody wants them? The items are,

    1 old tin bath. (dimensions 2'6 x 5'7")
    5 gallons of industrial sulphuric acid.
    1 set of drain clearing rods.

    I know it's a long shot but if they are of use to anybody let me know,

      I have heard that a wood chipper can work as a meat grinder in a pinch. You may want to try that.

        I just dump the rancid meat down an old abandoned well. Cheaper than having to buy tickets to the Policemans Ball.

          Gee wiz Monty, what happen to the three guys you hired last winter? I noticed they aren't hanging around the Home Depot parking lot in Ceder Rapids anymore. You would almost think Monty was gassing this guys and desecrating the corpses. What a silly thought.

          Well I am sure you find more, not like there is a shortage of Mexicans.

            Have you considered acid instead of a meat grinder? It is cheaper and also better for the environment.

                      Glad to see this board has a "thrifty" section. Speaking of being thrifty there is no need to buy a wood chipper brand new. Sometimes municipalities have auctions of used equipment. This is the best place to buy power equipment real cheap.

                      If you ever see a Linddana TP 150 for sale, buy it! Yes it weighs a ton but it has a trailer hitch. These babies will grind up ANYTHING.

                      Go to your municipal/government auctions. You won't be disappointed.

                              Five gallons and a pressure washer. That's some machine James. You must have a large acreage that requires many laborers.
