  • Ode to Jesus

    O Savior true,
    With eyes of blue,
And locks as blonde as gold-
    Your facial hair
    Is groomed with care,
    And pleasant to behold!

    O Savior mine,
    Your teeth, they shine,
Your nose, so straight and thin-
    And your blood that spurts,
    Upon me squirts,
    To wash away my sin!

    Your blessed breath
    Is oh-so-fresh,
It smells of fresh picked mint.
    I'm relieved
    That when you breathe,
    Of halitosis, there's no hint.

    O Savior grand,
    I take your hand,
To be your blushing bride! (2 Corinthians 11:2)
    On bended knee
    I bow to thee,
    And accept you deep inside!

Oh my, that was simply BEAUTIFUL!

    JUST LIKE JESUS!!!

Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

A Prayer Stop Poem: "Are You Ready?"
Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house,
Not a creature was praying, not one in the house.
Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care,
In hopes that Jesus would not come there.
The children were dressing to crawl into bed,
Not one ever kneeling or bowing a head.
And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap,
Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap.
When out of the East there arose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash!
When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here.
With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray,
I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY!
The light of His face made me cover my head,
It was Jesus returning just like He had said.
And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself.
In the Book of Life which He held in His hand,
Was written the name of every saved man.
      He spoke not a word as He searched for my name;
When He said "It's not here" my head hung in shame.
The people whose names had been written with love,
He gathered to take to His Father above.
With those who were ready He rose without a sound,
While all the rest were left standing around.
I fell to my knees, but it was too late,
I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate.
      I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight;
Oh, if only I had been ready tonight.
In the words of this poem the meaning is clear,
The coming of Jesus is drawing near.
There's only one life and when comes the last call,
We'll find that the Bible was true after all!
      (Author Unknown)

I am crying tears of joy just thinking of this marvelous day. But not one tear shed for the hellbound, those who ignore the sacrifices needing to be made.
      sigpic 1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

is it ok to sing this using that Scottish folk tune which is used in "Amazing grace"? Words are much more beautiful and touching!!!

I'm sorry, but the answer is No. But you have my permission to set the words to this tune:

...which is one of my all-time favorites. Even though Gilligan was a staunch sodomite and marijuana addict for most of his life, he died at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. I am certain one of the True Christian™ staff there goaded him into accepting Christ before his death...

            I really like this one.
The world is my canvas and my imagination is my palette.
