Whatever happened to good clean entertainment both parents and children could enjoy? There used to be a lot of it.
In Chicago and other big cities there was a permanent show called Midget City. The short people got short salaries so tickets were cheap. There were song and dance numbers, even a restaurant where midgets would struggle to carry trays of food.
Being put on display was a way to make steady income. But no, liberals had to make a big fuss about self esteem. Someday we conservatives will bring back forms of entertainment that made fun of people who are different.

) Mrs. Hutchins and I got married, we had midgets at the reception. They carried trays on their heads with food and drink. I have to say, it was nice not having to see the help. Sometimes, a guerst would step on one of the midget feet, everyone would hear a squeak, just like the sound a mouse makes when you stomp on one. Hilarious, let me tell you.
