  • Pox on Those Who Want to Steal Our Jesus/Landover Brand

I think we have been tolerant long enough of the Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka. We at Landover Baptist Church were in business hundreds of years before Westboro's founder, Fred Phelps, was born. The tradition of spell-binding sermons against sin has been passed down from pastor to son all this time to our present Pastor Zeke. This task of making Jesus and Landover Baptist one seamless brand did not come easily.

Anyone can look at Westboro's site and see its purpose is to steal our donors and congregation. For goodness sakes, can't Fred's descendants make up their own material? Our mission and purpose is nearly cut and pasted by those imposters. This is especially true of the anti homerism. Landover Baptist remains the true authority on homeristic sin.

Jesus does not want the brand of Landover Baptist sullied by those pretending to be Jesus/Landover Christians. While denouncing homerism by protesting military funerals would ordinarily by a noble cause, hiring actors to portray True Christian Baptists is something Jesus frowns on:

Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Fred Phelps was just a cheap ripoff of our own Pastor Deacon Fred. Even so, I might be more sympathetic if the people at Westboro weren't so liberal in their interpretation of the Bible. They give us True Christians(TM) a bad name.

Wow that is a weak site. Did the light go out?

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Another preacher who watches Landover Baptist Church and steals what he sees is this guy, Joel Osteen. He is always saying, "Jesus wants you to be rich. Bless yourself and He will bless you."

Pastor Zeke teaches us Jesus wants us to be wealthy and that is why we are wealthy. Joel Osteen should pay Pastor Zeke for this great sermon material or at least thank him. Pastor Zeke's Jesus brand is his and Landover Baptist's and not available to every run of the mill preacher.

They also have a rather suspicious rainbow clad house opposite them. One must wonder why a supposed god fearing Baptist church would choose to wake up every day only to look at such a perversion of architecture? Just another proof that they are phonies and liars!
