My question is this: Why should any responsible Iowa citizen who owns a house and goes to church care one twit about those people living in "Mobile Home Parks?" The latter is correctly called Trailer Trash.
I never allowed trailer trash in Freehold. But in those cities where they exist a wonderful economic change is coming. These mobile home parks were built decades ago. Cities expanded leaving the parks surrounded by expensive property. Trailer trash people rented spaces in the parks because they were cheap.
Now developers are offering those who own the parks big money. The new owners double or triple the cost of renting a space. Trailer trash move out. The property is ready for new, beautiful and profitable buildings.
Trailer trash people are now lobbying state legislatures to stop this. They want delays and regulations on the rent charged and money spent keeping up the parks. This is an outrage.
The sooner every city gets rid of it trailer trash the better off are responsible Christian people who own houses.
Mobile home residents in Iowa could get more notice of rent hikes (desmoinesregister.com)
